Lady Lilias Rose and her husband, David's son, Richard David was a real charmer as he grew, and he resembled both of his parent's and got the best of them.  He would be Lady Lilias Rose only child and she adored him.

Both Lady Lilias Rose and David Frederick loved their son, and they wanted him to live a normal and embrace life.  They didn't make their son attend church if he didn't want, but he did when he did, he decided on Southern Methodist Church.

Richard David Carter attended an ordinary elementary school, he excelled in sports, he loved horses, he loved country music and country dancing and when he graduated, he attended Texas A&M University and studied agriculture.

Lord Matthew Colin's sons attended Oxford University and studied government and politics and they led very rigid lives and were always chaperoned by their parents.

Their lives were very formal, rigid, and based on the British aristocracy they were born into. When it came time for them to find their brides. Lord Matthew would take them to the coming out affair for all the young ladies who would be presented to Queen Elizabeth II in Kensington Palace.

The fathers and mothers of these young women who were being presented to Queen Elizabeth II would be placed on the marriage market by their fathers as the tradition and the eldest daughter was always married off like the eldest son first.

Lord Matthew Colin wanted to make sure that his eldest son, Lord David Collin Craven at the age of 18 in 1977 is betrothed to Lady Katherine Beaufort, who is 16 years old and in they will marry in 1979.
