"So where are we going? I need to meet GeorgeNotFound." You bring up George again to try and get some answers from the guard who has taken to almost dragging you along.
"Do you know where he is? I thought not." the guard practically bit your head off with that comment, so much for respect you supposed.
After a few more minutes or so you thought, the guard finally stopped walking. You'd reached a door in the wall which led to a courtyard of sorts from what you could tell
"Okay. In here. You'll understand soon." well... that was ominous. You gulp and opened the door, stepping inside and holding it open for the guard.
You turn to take in the courtyard and see what looks like... a glass coffin? With holes in it. And... a guy inside it? what kind of Snow White shit is this-
You look at the compass which is pointing straight at the coffin... What the fuck- this can't be right can it?...
"Wait... so that's George? Some sort of like sleeping prince or something?" You look at the guard sceptically.
"Actually that's exactly the situation. So can you help or not? You won't be able to talk to him otherwise." wow. bluntness 100 right? so like life is a Disney movie? okay. So what now?
"Well? What are you waiting for Mx? You need to wake him up." you stare at the guard shocked and lost for words.
"Why me?" You gasp "why not someone else?" for all you knew this guy smelt terrible and never brushed his teeth or anything.
"I said wake him up, maybe do it or I kill you. There's a suggestion"
what the actual fuck. This- wow. So I guess I'm doing this Huh?
Taking steps towards the glass coffin muttering some very unholy things you pondered how you would even go about waking up this- guy? You honestly didn't care. But CPR or something like that seemed like the best method.
So, you lifted the lid off the coffin. You noticed that one, he didn't smell and he wore clout glasses- what? No way- I didn't think you could get those anywhere anymore. Wait no- I can ask about the glasses later. Focus Y/N don't get sidetracked.
You'd been taught how to perform CPR before, so getting ready was easy. You laced your fingers together and placed your hands over his chest and began to hum 'Another One Bites the Dust' to help you keep the compressions in time as you perform them.
"What are you doing?" the guard asked. Okay it kinda looked weird from their angle but still, wasn't it obvious?
"I'm doing CPR. What? Have you any better ideas?" you look at the guard and roll your eyes before realising what you may end up having to do.
shit- magic works here right? That means... ew no. I won't. I don't even know him. But... UGH. I swear. you think Fuck Disney making mouth-to-mouth look so damn romantic or something like that- screw it. You take a deep breath, mentally giving yourself a pep talk.
One breath, Two, Thr-
After 3 breaths. Surprise surprise, George woke up.
"Ew- okay now that's something I will never get back" you splutter disgusted. Wow. If you could invent a time machine you'd definitely not do that.
"Who are you?... Where are we? Why was I asleep? How"- George seemed really confused and you could relate.
"My prince!" the guard spoke up bowing quickly "You've been asleep for months and this traveller has helped wake you!" you mentally roll your eyes, seeing as you had no choice and this was, well inevitable. Heh- inevitable. You chuckle to yourself.
"Yeah. And this 'traveller' needs to talk you Mr Greg" you say, deliberately mispronouncing his name. After all, you had to do some gross shit to wake him up, the least you could do is insult him a little to help your confidence and in general pride and stuff heal
"Uh- it's George actually..." he looks at you hurt.
"Did I say Greg? I meant to say Grug. No bath rug, I don't care. I need your help and XD sent me so don't even think about denying me the aid I need." you knew your years of playing Dangonronpa and Ace Attorney would pay off, because George looked convinced. Evidence + Alibi = profit.
"Can we go inside maybe and talk about this? Prince George? What do you think?" the guard tried to insert themselves in the conversation. George nods quickly to the guard
"Right, this way" the guard follows for the others to follow them as they exit the garden and go back through the village. Walking through the village, cheers rose from the villagers, overjoyed that the prince had woken up. All the while, you felt as if someone was staring into the back of your head, only to turn around and see George looking in your direction. You couldn't tell where exactly he was looking behind the glasses, but he did look away when you turned around. And if you where more observant you may have even seen him blush.
When you reached a building made out of a large oak tree, the guard stopped and open the door. Nodding in gratitude, you realised that you'd haven't asked what their name was.
"So uh- who're you?"
"Quinn." okay- so this guy? Yeah that neck is masculine. Then again, your often wrong so it's best not to judge.
"Okay. So here goes nothing" you say as you sit down and start to explain.
5 minutes later~~
"So yeah. That's why I need your help to get back. It'd be a gaslight gatekeep girlboss thing to do of you'd help me." you fold your arms, satisfied your story has been told.
"The prince won't"- "I'll help you."
