A/N This is set right after the AoU final battle! The Avengers just got home

Tony's POV:

This was it. It was over. Ultron? Dead. Pietro? Dead. Half of Sokovia? Dead. Why? Because of me.

"Jarv- I mean, Friday? How long till we get home?", I asked

"34 minutes, boss", She replied

"Inform Pepper and the boys", I said. I hadn't seen my kids in 2 weeks

"Where's Wanda? Is she with anyone?", I asked

"No sir. She is alone in the left-wing", Friday said. I made my way over to her and opened the door. She was obviously crying and just stopped. She turned to look at me

"Hey, kid. Can I sit down?", I asked. She nodded and moved over a bit. I made my way over to her and sat down

"Do you want to talk about it? Or just cry? Anything?", I asked. She moved her eyes away and shook her head

"Do you have any family here? or anywhere?", I asked

"My Parents were killed by a shell in Sokovia... Pietro was the only family I had left", She said. Looking down at the floor. The shell... the shell that I created. I thought to myself

"Any friends? Family friends? Familiar acquaintances?", I asked

"What's... 'Acquaintances'?", She asked, in her thick, yet innocent accent

"Someone you know", I said. She shook her head

"Really?", I asked

"After my parents died... I spent the rest of my life in Hydra. Pietro was all I knew. We didn't make friends and never had any", She said, "Even if I did have any family... We probably forgot each other. And why would they want anything to do with me now?"

"You know... The Tower is always open to you. If you want, you can live with all the other Avengers. Have your own room... become one of us", I said

"You know I can't do that", She said

"Why?", I asked

"I... I killed so many people. I helped kill you. I helped Hydra. I'm a murderer, I can't do that. It's too much to ask", She said looking into my eyes

"No, it's not. And besides, your past is your past. You can't change it. But you can change your what you do. I mean... Well... Wanda, if you went back in time 20 years and told me that I would stop selling weapons, Have a wife, start a family and become a hero... I would call you an idiot. Please just stay with us. Where will you go? Wanda, please. Even for at least a week!", I said

"Really?", She asked, tears starting to form in her eyes

"Yes. And I have two children of my own... Peter and Harley. They're twins. 14. I wouldn't think of you as any different than my own. OK?", I asked

"Mhm", She mumbled. She looked down for a second where she started crying, then leaned in for a hug.

"We'll be there in about half an hour", I said about 30 seconds later after she pulled away

"OK", She said, getting up and going to the toilet. I walked out of the door where Clint, Nat and Steve were outside waiting for me

"How is she?", Steve asked

"She's OK. I convinced her to live at the tower", I said

"That's nice. If she ever needs it, Laura is always open", Clint suggested
