A alternate time line..

Once I heard the guards snoring like they always do, I darted to the window and started unlocking the window. It took me a few minutes to get the lockpicker to work, but I made it happen! "Step one, complete. Step 2 is now in action!" I whispered to my self as I got the rope I made out of my backpack. I carefully climbed out of the window with my things and as I suspected, the toads were on night duty. Perfect timing! When I got to the middle of the tower I was locked in, I had gotten the smoke bombs out of my backpack and placed the bombs in the spot I wanted to be in. "Step 2, and 3, are done!" I exclaimed excitedly. Unexpectedly tho, one of the guard toads caught me and grabbed me away from the bombs. Of course that didn't matter because in a few seconds, they would explode! "Aha got you! You can't escape my grasp monster!" A buff toad yelled. Her grip on me was tight! "3, 2, 1!" I said as I pulled on my goggles. "Wait why are you counting- AAHH!" The toad screamed as she let go of me. "BOOM BOOM BOOM!" I yelled as I ran off! I was finally home free! I was finally going to WartWood right? WRONG! My whole plan went backward from there! "HONNNNNNKKKK!" Oh no oh no oh no!!! Only one animal in amphibia makes that sound! I scavenged through my journal and realized it was one possible creature! "HERRONS! OH NO!" I didn't care about escaping now! I had to go save those toads. My escape could wait a little bit longer!

As fast as I could, I ran back to the base of toad tower. Everyone was screaming and running around. I tried to look for Comander Grime but I couldn't find him anywhere! Then it occurred to me! Comander Grime had gone hunting today! I'm gonna have to save those toads.. but how..? Looked in my journal for the Herron protocols. "Let's see.. this will work if they listen to me.." I found a sturdy rock and stood on it while I cupped my hands making a megaphone sound. "OK, TOADS LISTEN TO ME! I KNOW THIS IS SCARY BUT I CAN HELP!  JUST LISTEN TO THE SOUND OF MY VOICE AND I CAN GUID YOU TO THE RIGHT FORMAT-" I yelled but then got rudely interrupted by a some toad. "Why should we trust you?!" "Yea!" Some other toad exclaimed. "If you got us into this mess how are you going to fix it?!" I had to make things right. Even if I was the whole problem to this situation. I cupped hands and yelled into them as if it was a megaphone. "LOOK, IM SORRY I CAUSED THIS MESS OK?! YALL KIDNAPPED ME WITH NO INFORMATION AND JUST THREW ME IN A CELL! I NEED TO FIND MY FRIENDS AND GET OUT OF THIS PLACE. I KNOW HOW TO STOP THE HERRON BUT IF YOU DONT LET ME HELP, THEN YOUR TOWER IS PROBALY GOING TO GET DESTROYED! SO DO YOU WANT MY HELP OR NOT?!" I yelled at the top of my lungs! I have never been in charge like that before! It was usally sasha the one who was in charge most of the time. SHE BELONGS HERE! I watched the toads nod their head at me even tho they couldn't see very much. "OK THEN. IM PRETTY SURE YALL WILL KNOW THIS FORMATION SINCE YOU TRAIN ON IT EVERY DAY! MANTIS FORMATION!" I screamed at the top of my lungs! I looked through my goggles and surprisingly even tho they were blind, everyone successfully got in Mantis Formation and scared off the Herron! "THERE YALL GO! PERFECT! GREAT JOB GUYS!" I yelled! Everyone was chest pumping each other and congratulating each other aswell! Everything was going great until I started getting dizzy.. that should not be happening.. Everything was spinning around me and I couldn't stand up straight. I needed to get out of there! But why weren't the toads being affected.. no time to wonder! I had to get out of there.. I ran into the forest! I didn't care where I was going, I just needed to get out of there! I kept running and running til my legs went numb.. I saw a faint shadow follow me. I kept running til I couldn't any more. "I'll just..rest here.." I said out of breath. After a few minutes of standing I couldn't balance my self any longer. "HUMAN. HUMAN!!" I heard a faint voice yell. It was the shadow! The last I Rember was the shadow hovering over me... then I passed out hitting my head on the hard grass in the forest.

When I woke up, I was laying on the ground. My head was pounding and I was sore all over. But, I saw the strangest thing.. Comander Grime was watching over me..? "Human. Good your awake. You took a pretty hard fall last night. You have a cut on your right leg but I wrapped up with a cloth I found in your belongings." I stared in shock at my wrapped up leg. Commander Grime cared for me..? I tried to sit up but I felt a sharp pain all over my body. "AGH" I said as I tried sitting up. "Easy there human." Grime said as he layed me back down. "Ya know.. you were pretty badass yesterday night." Grime exclaimed. "How do you know.. you weren't even there." I shot back. "Human, I'm everywhere watching all of my armies. I saw how you took action when I was not there. That is what I look for in a leader. Toad, or not toad. Hell if it was a frog, I would still put them on my team." I stared at Comander Grime. Was I dreaming? What is this toad trying to stay. "Look human. Let's get to the chase.  I need you here to help command my Toad army. They won't listen to me most of the time. They seem to listen to you. I want to make you Co-commander, journalist, engineer, and strategist. Also, you are in no shape to travel. You have a wound in your leg, and you can barely sit up due to the gas bombs you made. I beileve it's best to stay here. And I'm not letting you go anywhere else other wise." Commander Grime was acting just like my mother. I never knew he cared about me this much.. he is right about me being in no shape to travel as well. What if I did stay for abit longer tho? I could help Comander Grime get the toads in line. But I'll never be that strict.. My friend Sasha even said so herself. "I'm sorry Comander Grime.. I just can't stay that long. I need to find my friends and get out of here. I will stay til I'm better of course.. I just can't stay long. I'm sorry." I exclaimed. I had to decline his offer. My first priority is always friendship! "I want to make you an offer human.. tell you what. I'll send my whole army to help you find your friends IF you join my army. Co-captain, engineer, journalist, and strategist is what I need from you." Comander Grime was going to help me..? I was too tired to think of anything else to say! He was offering to help me! After thinking about it for a long 3 minutes.. I decided to say yes. "Ok. I'll join your army. Just as long as you keep your end of the bargain." I strictly said. "Of course. Oh and please. Just call me Grime." "Ok then, Grime." I said as he picked me up to take me back to ToadTower. "Hey human, I never got your name.. what is your name?" Grime asked.
"Marcy. Marcy Wu."
