"Daesh?" the woman called out.
"Yes," the man called back.
"Come look,"
The man named Daesh walked to the room where his 26-year-old wife was, as she was sitting down with her hands to her face. His brow furrowed as he saw the wizard pregnancy test.
When the small cup turned blue, it meant negative. But here it was, bright red.
"You are expecting?" he turned his gaze to her.
"We, Daesh," she sighed.
"Oh, right. We must tell my parents. Will you tell yours?" he asked her.
She bit her lip. How she missed her mother and father, her twin brother, Fleamont.
"I shall send them a letter," she declared.
"Alright, we're going to visit my family soon anyway, let's tell them then."

"Would you like to know the gender?" the nurse asked them.
"Yes," Daesh replied.
"It's a girl," she smiled.
Persephone grinned, looking down at her 5 month old baby.
"Thank you," Daesh smiled, very lightly, dismissing the nurse.
"What will we name it?" he asked her.
"Her, and I want to name it Elizabeth, after your...late mother," she said looking down at her belly again.
"Very well," Daesh recalled his mother, who was called Azile, as she did not like her "basic" name.

"Fleamont visited the other day," she said bluntly.
"And? What did he want?" he said. He did not like his brother-in-law, as he and his wife were blood-traitors.
"He also has a child. James, he said," she said.
"Ok. What am I supposed to do about it?" he replied curtly.
"My parents recently died, Daesh, you know this!" Persephone snapped.
"They were blood-traitors! I thought you knew that," he growled.
"But they were my parents! Even if they are blood-traitors, I loved them!" She raised her voice, tears crystalizing her eyes.
"Calm down," he nodded towards the sleeping Elizabeth.
Persephone sighed.
"I want Elizabeth to know James." Persephone muttered.
Daesh observed his wife's behavior. He raised a hand to his temples as he took of his reading glasses.
"Fine," he agreed.
Persephone smiled brightly at her husband.
"My happily ever after," she sighed breathlessly to herself
Little did she know, her husband was planning something. Something that would result the opposite of what she wanted.
