"Bye! Have fun! Make sure to write!" A few people are crowded around the train platform, saying their goodbyes to a loved one. Soon the train starts running and soon disappears out of view. It's a bumpy ride for sure.

Avery looks out the window watching as small farmhouses go by. They sigh and look around them. By them there's a woman with two children and a man that's fast asleep. The children were fighting over a small toy and the woman looked very tired. The woman looked over at Avery, "Are you alone on here?" Avery nodded, "Uh yeah. I'm going to live with my Aunt." "Oh how wonderful! Where are you headed?" "Winnie." "Ah that old place, I heard it has quite a good fishing spot." Avery just looked at the woman, and then looked back out the window. 'I want to go back home.'

Avery stepped off the train taking in the fresh air. "Ah Avery! There you are! I'm so happy to see you again!" They turned and saw they're aunt May walking towards them. Avery hadn't seen May in years. To be honest they don't even remember her. "Hello." "Ah! You've grown so much! The last time I saw you was when you were just a newborn!" That was over 14 years ago. A year after Avery was born they caught a terrible disease. They were only supposed to live to ten years old so it was a miracle that they had just turned 15. When Avery had turned 12 they found out that the disease had somehow gotten better. But then on their 14th birthday everything came crashing down. The disease was back and it was worse.

"And here is your room! Feel free to make yourself at home!" May mad a gesture with her hands, showing the room. Avery looked around and set their bags down. The room seemed to be an old office. Papers were stacked everywhere. "Thank you Aunt May." Avery whispered. May smiled and walked out of the room, closing the door behind her. Avery looked around once more and sighed. 'This place looks depressing...' they thought. They sat down on the bed and folded their hands in their lap. Suddenly a gust of wind went through the open windows, sending papers everywhere.
