It was the day of the wedding and me and Dafey had on suits, looking sharp.
We hopped in my Red convertible, it was 3:30 and it ended 5:30, short I guess but the after party was tomorrow
We showed up, everyone looking at us, I don't see why oh maybe because I brought my dog, got to admit we were looking good.
I went where the groom was or the soon to be single woman
"Ugh" she groaned turning away from the mirror "what do you want?"
"I" I smiled "I want to wish you luck because I don't think you're getting married, leave now while you still have the chance"
"Puh-lease" she raised a hand "she doesn't want you"
"I know it was you!"
"Me what?!" She smiled trying to play innocent
"You know"
"Yes I do, I made her lose feeling for you, now would you move its time for me to be out there waiting for her"
"Be on your merry little way then" I moved
Me and her walked out, faking our smiles like we were friends, I sat in the seats with the crowd, I had to be normal and Dafey, sat right next to me
I like the decor, pretty nice, in a chapel at the alter were the 3 best men, now Charlie with the priest and the 3 best women, I'm waiting for the bride and father to come out. BTW it was like any other wedding not much to describe
The 'here comes a bride' music went off and wenall turned our heads, there was Daphne and her Father, walking arm in arm, walking down the crimson red carpet
Soon they were up there
"Before we begin is there anyone here that thinks they shouldn't be lawfully wedded?" The priest asked looking around
I should say something but I'm not, as sad as it seems, I want her to be happy with or without me, nothing in the world can change her mind, its over, its done for
Daphne looked at me and she waved and smiled
'I love you forever!' I mouthed to her
She looked around
"I object!" Daphne said
"Don't be silly darling, we've planned and dreamed of this day" Charlie said
"She's right Daphne, be happy with whoever you want don't let me stop you" I said
I guess I don't want her anymore
"You're right" she bowed her head then lifted it "silly of me to say that please continue"
The ceremony continued and now we were at the part of the wedding, close to the ending
"Do you Charlie take Daphne as your lawfully wedded wife?" The priest asked
"I do" she smiled
I can't believe I'm actually ok with this now when a day ago I was going crazy over her
"Do you Daphne take Charlie to be your lawfully wedded wife?"
I bit my lower lip and stood up "I DONT!" I said before she could say something
All heads turned towards me
"Come on Dafey" I whispered to my dog
I made my way to the front
"I don't approve of this" I pushed Charlie down "I know I should've said something but I knew I was going to regret it"
"Please sit down ma'am" the priest said
"Shut the hell up!" I snapped, I got up on stage and looked at Daphne in her beautiful brown eyes "Daphne Diana Da-Vinci, I love you with all my heart, I've known you longer than 20 years, from preschool to the way up, now look at us 25, I'm about to be divorced for you, and you're about to be married to Charlie, but listen hear me out, a month we've been together" I seen her about to cry "and 5 years I've loved you more than a friend, I thought I was straight but you changed it, I want you Daphne" I got on my knees "Daphne Diana Da-Vinci, will you be my wife instead of Charlie's?"
Charlie stood there in shock "she doesn't want you!!" She yelled
"Yesssss Evelyn!!" Daphne held her mouth and tears flowed "yes I will, cuz I've regretted the decision I've made for trying to delete you from my life"
"Priest" I began "start from 'Do you' please"
He huffed "do you Evelyn take Daphne as your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do"
"Do you Daphne take Evelyn as your layfully wedded wife?"
"I do!"
"You may kiss the bride!"
We kissed
"Awwwwwww" and cheering came from the crowd as we walked down the crimson red carpet to the car
"So long loser!" I said to Charlie who stood there looking dumb as we happily passed by
"Glad you chose me" I said happily
We kissed before I picked her up bridal style and put her in the car
"I'm glad you're mine" she said wrapping her arms around me
