^ 1: Arrival ^

"What the"- you manage before covering your mouth to stop any puke from coming up.

After a few moments pass, the gross feeling in your stomach does also and so you stand up once more and take in your new surroundings.

Taking in a deep breath you notice a abundance of trees and flowers. You appeared to have arrived in a forest.

You turn back, remembering something that you forgot, only to see the portal closed behind you. You were trapped in a strange new world you'd never been to before.

Taking a deep breath to stop any panic from rising, you decide to look on the bright side, this new world seems safe enough at the moment, maybe you will be able to find someone or something to help you eventually get back home?  After all your family will start to worry about where you went. Right?...

Sighing you walked over to the nearest tree and slumped down against it, opening your backpack and rummaging through it to asses what supplies you have. Normally you'd be more prepared for adventures like this, but you went through the portal before planning ahead, due to the excitement you had from your success.

The only things that you had in your bag now, where emergency food supplies of bread and steak, along with a water bottle. At least you wouldn't starve?

Closing your backpack you leaned back against the tree, listening to the birds chirping. You couldn't complain, you'd been in worse situations and your still alive now aren't you? But still... you could use some aid or guidance...

...

"Well well well... who are you?"

Sharply looking up you take in the appearance of a extremely tall, robed figure. It's face hidden by a mask adorned with the letters X and D. They had enormous wings and multiple arms...  Who in the name of Mother Nature is this- you thought

"Can you speak or are you ignoring me? Who are you?"

"Erm- I'm... Y/N..." you manage, standing up so you where up to the persons... waist? It was hard to tell with the green, white and gold robes they wore.

"Hmm. Why are you here?"  the figure loomed over you

"I... my portal shut off. I'm stuck here and I really need to go home.."  you point to the portal frame, kind of embarrassed that you have to admit you made a stupid decision rushing into a new portal. Now you've met someone who looks exactly how God would have looked like.

this is like one of those Isekai anime things... you realised...

"Your lost? Maybe I can help you?"  after hearing you kind of desperate plea for help, the robed figure appears more approachable, or at least you feel that way.

"My name, is DreamXD and I'm, we'll essentially god. I can help you get home if you do me a favour."  As XD leans towards you, you notice how the space between them and you becoming less and less...

geez... you think does this guy not know what personal space is? Like back up a bit- I can almost smell what's on your breath.

Pushing XD away slightly so you feel as if you can breathe again,

"What kind of favour are we talking about her good sir?"  you say curiosity peaking in your voice. (a/n: not a voice crack ok- idk how to word this -_-)

"I haven't decided yet. I'll let you know when I do..." you hear a raspy noise of sorts... was he laughing or something? "Your quite the looker aren't you? Well.. maybe I have a idea of what this favour will be..."  his voice trailing off, leaving a LOT to the imagination, almost as if he was hinting at something you didn't want to think about.

"Well. Regardless, here, take this, you'll need it."  he holds out one of his arms, and in the hand is a compass. "Take this"  he says, "It'll lead you to a good friend of mine. He need some help right now, considering how much he's sleeping."

You take the compass from XD and open it. It has a nametag attached to it, which read:

GeorgeNotFound

"So I just follow this to your friend?" you ask with a hint of sarcasm. XD simply nods and pats you on the head. what. I'm not a pet or something. you think, annoyed at the sudden contact.

"Exactly! Your a smart mortal aren't you?..."

and with that XD teleported away, leaving a note where he stood...

'Good luck Y/N. I'll be keeping a eye on you. - XD' 

You stoop down and pick up the note quickly pocketing  it. Going to pick up your backpack, you notice that it's heavier than it was before. Before it just had your food supplies, but now it was filled with... diamonds? And a substance labelled as 'Netherite' 

Did DreamXD leave this for me or something? Well.. I mean. It's a gift. I can't give it back anyways. You sling the backpack over your shoulders.

"Off we go then?" you say, mainly to yourself as you start off in the direction where the compass was pointing.

As you walked through the forest towards the walls you noticed earlier you thought to yourself how ironic your situation was, considering how you'd been bored silly but now you where stuck in some unknown world, where God had personally come down from wherever he lived to welcome you personally and give you some sort of magic item.

I mean... it can only get better from here on out right?

no, it can only get worse.
