To create my fantasy worlds, I use Dungeons & Dragons, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, The Witcher, and other such fantasy novels. I first create a map, usually a continent. I use different colors for nations, landscape, cities, towns, ruins, and such. To create a massive plot, I create multiple characters and create a bit of it for each, for example, a royal family. Hopefully this advice helps other writers.
