But either ways without Madeleine you visit Espresso everyday.

Mostly because Espresso needs you as a 'Coffee critic'.

So today you find yourself with the aroma of coffee and Espresso trying to start a conversation.

"So..where's your cousin Y/n?"

"He's either saving the kingdom or doing idiotic things with GingerBrave."

"Idiotic things?"

"Like trying to figure out how deep is the lake, then trying to add flavors to the water, then getting scolded by Knight Cookie."

"Oh, I see. But shouldn't you try to stop him?"

"I tried once. It turned out ugly."

"Y/N, would you try out this coffee please?"

"Sure."

He handed the cup of coffee to you, and your fingers accidentally touched his.

He didn't look like he was surprised, but he mentally was.

He just looked happy. 

And he was, really, really, happy.

You took a sip of the coffee, and your taste-buds were practically unprepared for the flavor.

"It's..-"

"Delicious, tasty, appetizing, delectable, delightful, distinctive, enjoyable, enticing, exquisite, heavenly, luscious, piquant, pleasant, rich, savory?"

"A-all of above."

"Hmm."

You got up of your chair, and quickly started to grab your belongings.

"I think I need to get going, Espresso, I have a feeling Madeleine is in trouble."

"W-wait a minute Y/N-"

Espresso grabbed your hand. Not harshly, but softly. You looked towards Espresso, quite confused.

Espresso was WAYYY more confused than you were. And he was slightly turning red.

"Uh-, I mean, do you want to hang out later, maybe?"

"Sure, why not?"

"Does 10pm sound alright, Y/N?"

"Yup, it does. Now I really have to look for Madeleine, Espresso."

"A-alright. I'll see you at 10 then."

"10pm it is."

You opened the door and left running.

You didn't notice Espresso quietly dancing.

He wondered if he was in love with Madeleine's younger cousin, y/n.

Affogato Cookie:

Everyday you had to visit Affogato at the bakery, or he would act as if he was hurt by your 'insult' of not being there.

This time you two were walking around the kingdom. You two get along well, although he would sometimes tease you.

"Hey, Affogato?"

"Hmm?"

"When's Caramel allowed back here?"

"..I really don't know. It's not easy to convince the king, you realize it right?"

"Yeah..."

You two walked in silence for a while.
