Creation.

          My people believe in a very simple thing called "The Creation." in essence The Creation is how humans, Avians, Animal-Folk, and all other sentient beings came to be. You probably have similar beliefs, whether its the Big Bang theory, or some religious intervention. But the Creation is not science. It is not religion. It is simply, The Creation. It's continued to give life to my people even if the humans have strayed from its light. They create their own "Gods" as ways to humanize the Creation, the make it something they can see. You cannot see The Creation. But you can feel it in the summer air, you can feel its power coursing through your veins and swirling around you. For some The Creation is a constant. Always there, always present. For some its their occasionally. The humans call it "instinct" or "trusting your gut." Its the term the humans use for when The Creation guides them. And for others, they can barely feel it. They have strayed far from The Creation and have lost its light. And for some lucky individuals, they can harness this energy. They can create, they can destroy, they can alter the evolution of any living organism. They have limitless power. For that is what the Creation gives. You are either born with this power, or you are not. Simple as that.

      You can identify a user of the gift by 3 simple traits. 1. They have a streak of white hair 2. They are blessed with more angelic features. and 3. When they open their eyes for the first time, they glow pure gold, like the setting sun. When these children are blessed with the energy of The Creation, a bright aura emanates from them until they speak their first word. Then, with those words being uttered the child is now suitable for the full extent of the Creations power. Some succeed. Most fail. The overwhelming power of the Creation can be too much for a child to handle, and they self combust. It is all in The Creations plan to protect us.

Or so that's what I've been told.
