POISONED | (Kocho Shinobou Demon AU)

Chapter One

   "Sister! Don't leave me here please!" I said crying my eyes out as I held my dying sister in my arms. She sighed. "Keep smiling for me, okay?" She said before taking her last breath. "Sister!" I screamed crying. Being alone in the world is something I could not handle I was in pain. I laid my dead sisters body gently on the floor and clasped her hands. "I promise to kill whatever demon killed you." I whispered to myself. Then I'll be able to gain justice and fulfill your dream. A tall shadow appeared overshadowing me. "You're in pain." The man said. "Who are you?!" I said choking on my words. "Humans are weak, and incompetent. But I sensed something in your sister, of strength." The man said. "WHO ARE YOU?!" I repeated again, but louder clutching my fists filling with more anger. "You don't need to know." The man said. His eyes squinted they almost looked feminine. His red eyes lavished in the moonlight. "Fine, if you insist my name is Muzan Kibutsuji." He said. My eyes grew as the aura of fear grew around me. "What's with the shocked look?" He said walking closer and lifting up my chin. I tried my best to stay calm. I cleared my throat, and walked away from his hold. "M-My sister and her comrades told me about you. First demon to ever live."  I said. "You certainly know. So...Join me." He said. My pupils shrunk and I felt a pulse. "Why would *I* join you? Who knows, you're probably the one  who murdered my sister."  I said. "Why would I waste my time killing your sister. It doesn't seem like you really have a choice anyways." Muzan said. He bit his lip causing it to bleed he landed his lips on mine leaking the blood into my mouth, it was cold. I started to feel my bones rattling through my skin and my pulse getting faster, I was screaming. He stared as I was going through agony my reflection shining in his snake like pupils. "See you soon....Shinobou Kocho." He said disappearing. I fainted, feeling as I was going to die. 

      Soon after I woke up, in a labyrinth area, there was a woman with a biwa instrument and Muzan before me. I felt weak and hungry for something other than food. "You're very strong. I'm surprised you were able to survive the amount of blood I gave you. People are usually not able to surpass the phase of transformation." He said with an amusing smirk. "Transformation?" I asked. "You should already know *what* transformation I'm talking about." He said. I realized what he meant and my eyes started to water, I looked at my hands, veins and cracks in my skin. I felt my head. I-I was...a demon. A horn on my head with a butterflies wrapped around it. "Don't cry Shinobou, I don't like crying it aggravates me, showing weakness and stupidity weak do not belong in this world." Muzan said. He taught me everything of a demon and that there was ONE rule never say the name, "Kibutsuji" to humans or the curse will activate and I will die. I nodded. "Now go." Muzan said. I left. 'Eat humans..' I thought. 'Sister, I'm sorry.. I can not fulfill your dream, please forgive me, but I will avenge your death.'  I wanted to be like her, but I can't anymore. I stared up at the moon. 'Someday you'll forgive me..right sister?'
