The sound of the cheering crowd were the one that welcomed me upon entering the venue for today's final game in basketball.
Kasama ko ngayon sina Kailani, Adeline, Gwyneth, and Sapphire. They also came to support since it will be our university against the other school.
Nakaupo kami sa bandang unahan since Elias got us some VIP tickets.
The speaker introduced the different players from the opposing university. Naunang tinawag ang kalaban pero ng tinawag na ang players ng St. Bernard University. Everyone in our school started cheering
Huling tinawag si Elias and I can't help but be proud of him. Nilakasan ko ang cheer ko not minding if mawawalan man ako ng boses nito kinaumagahan.
The game already started. First scores ay lamang ang team namin. Nanatiling nangunguna kami hanggang matapos ang first quarter.
Nang sumapit ang second quarter ay naging tie ang scores nila. Halata sa kalabang grupo na magagaling din ang players nila but I firmly believe with the skills of our own players. I knew they can do it.
Nang matapos ang second quarter ay lamang ng 8 puntos ang kalaban. Ramdam namin ang kaba ng dahil dito pero pinilit naming lakasan ang loob ng players namin by cheering with them.
Nang mag third quarter na ay ramdam na ramdam ang namumuomg tensyon sa mag kalabang players.
"OOOH" everyone was shocked ng biglang matumba si Austin. I also saw Sapphire standing up na para bang nagulat rin. Pinaupo naman siya ni Kailani kaya agad ding sumunod ito.
May dumating na medics after non. Nang makuha na si Austin ay agad nag patuloy ang laro. Lamang parin ang kalaban kaya naman ay marami saamin ang kinakabahan. Pero alam naming kaya ito nina Elias.
Natapos ang third quarter ng lamang parin ang kalaban. Nang mag simula na ang fourth quarter ay hindi muna pumasok si Elias dahil halata sa mukha nitong pagod na ito dahil simula first quarter ay hindi siya pinalitan.
Humahabol ang team namin ngunit lamang parin sila ng 9 na puntos. Napag pasiyahan ng coach nila na ipasok na rin si Elias.
Sunod sunod ang nagiging puntos nina Elias dahil lahat ng tira nito ay nakaka pasok. Ngunit ang kalaban ay humahabol din.
20 seconds nalang ang natitira, nasa kalaban ang bola ngunit naagaw ito ni Zion tinakbo niya ito papunta sa may ring side nila. Nang makitang walang bantay sa may kay Elias ay ipinasa niya ito. Pantay ang score nila ngayon at kapag ma shoot ito ni Elias ngayon ay sila na ang mananalo.

Pumasok pa ito sa ring. It was a buzzer beater moment for our team. Nag hiyawan ang lahat ng ideclare na kami ang panalo.
Nag hand shake ang makabilang grupo. Ang naka bunggo kay Austin kanina ay dinaluhan din siya upang mag sorry. It was a win win situation to be honest, they were also happy about our university's success.
Everyone was also waiting who will be this year's Most Valuable Player.
"And for this year's Most Valuable Player!" the host announced but all I can hear was the crowd's noises and the loud drum rolls. Kasabay na rin nito ang mabilis na tibok ng aking puso.
"Elias Benedict Alvarez" nang dahil don ay napahiyaw din ako ng malakas. I was so happy for and proud of him.
Agad siyang pumunta sa gitna at sinuotan siya ng medal. I can see how happy his teammates are. He was also looking in the crowd as if he was finding someone. Nang mapadaan ang tingin niya sa gawi ko ay ngumiti ito.
I smiled back at him mouthed words. "I'm proud of you."
They asked Elias to give a heartwarming messages and he agreed with it.
"Thank you so much to everyone who came today to watch our game. Seeing how united our university is right now already makes my heart full. Thank you for the unending support you gave to me and our whole team. We really appreciate it." saad ng lalaki na halata sa kanyang boses na hinihingal pa ito.
"To my family & friends who's always there for me since day 1, my fans, and to my Eliana Joyce." he added.
He looked at me in the eyes. I was already tearing up. "I hope you're proud of me. I'll also take this chance to ask you, my Eliana Joyce, will you officially be my girl?"
To be shocked would be an understatement. This guy really makes me feel all the butterfly inside my stomach. I was so close to crying in here.
"I wouldn't take no as an answer." he jokingly said which made the crowd burst into laugh. "Just kidding. You know i'll always be waiting for you, right?" he added.
He started running towards my direction. I can already feel everyone's stare. He hugged, I also hugged him back. I didn't mind if he was sweaty because I can still smell his manly scent.
"Will always be willing to wait for you okay? Don't be so pressured, love." he said then kissed my forehead.
