Chapter 4 The forgotten Gilbert

Ron's POV:

If I can convince everyone to let Alison stay with us then I don't have to worry about her too much.

You see i know it will be easy to convince mum and dad when they find out that she's living in a hotel by herself mum will rush to get her but the one person i need to convince is Jeremy and Harry

Ever since first year when Draco made Ali call Hermione a mudblood harry and Jeremy have been angry at her 

I took Hermione to the astronomy tower that night so Alison could explain and mione and apologise to her and just like i thought mione forgave her since then she knew that me and Ali meet every night at the astronomy tower and she covers for me she's such a good friend don't know what i would do without Hermione 

I rushed home to look for mum and just like i thought she was in the kitchen

"MUM MUM" i screamed "yes Ron what's wrong" she put the knife down and looked at me

"So i have this friend no one knows I'm friends with her and her parents died in June just before her birthday" she stopped smiling and looked at me with a serious face 

"Oh my gosh who is she staying with" she had that mother panic in her face "she's staying in a hotel by herself" i could see her start to panic even more "right that's it she's staying here" i stopped her and told her it's Jeremy sister her face when so red that you could see steam come out of her ears i have never seen her this mad not even at the twins 

JEREMY GRAYSON GILBERT GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE NOW" 

As i was about to sneak off she grabbed my shirt not letting me leave, Jeremy came down panicked i could hear everyone on the stairs trying to listen cause none if us have ever heard mum this mad before

"When was you going to tell me your sister is fucking HOMELESS" "she's not homeless she lives at the leaky cauldron and she works there too" he said trying to defend himself

Before he could say anything everyone ran downstairs "that's still homeless" Hermione said i smiled at her for sticking up for her 

"Me and Ron are leaving to go get her boys i want you all to get Charlie's room ready for her, Ginny Hermione go into the attic and get some spare clothes for her do you hear me" everyone nodded and Jeremy rolled his eyes "and when i get back I'm going to deal with you later Jeremy"

And with that I took mum to go get Alison. I'm so glad she's going to be safe so I can protect her

i don't know why but since first year I've had this need to protect her it's not like a brother sister protect like i have for Ginny but its something else and i don't know what

Alison POV:

I was wiping the tables when i saw Ron come in with some lady he pointed to me and she went to talk to my boss and he came up to me and started to smile

"I've done it your coming to stay with us" he said smiling 

"Wait you manage to convince everyone in your house" i was shocked i didn't think he could actually do it

But then he started to rub the back of his neck before i could say anything the lady came up to us 

"Hello sweetheart I'm Ron's mum I'm so sorry about your parents i cant believe Jeremy never spoke about you not once but don't worry I'm going to sort him out when we get back now come on let's go pack your things" she grabbed my hand and lead me to the rooms

i turned my head to give Ron a dirty look and he mouthed "sorry"
