PART V: "Illuminating Affection"

ALY: "Walk away now, Jane..." her words sends shiver to his skin.

JANE (laughed): "OMG Aly. Seriously? This guy?" sa kaniya na ngayon nakatingin ang babae. Ibang-iba ang tingin nito sa kaniya kumpara mo sa bati nito sa kanila kanina. Her eyebrows raised at his face.

JUSTIN: "Ano ba'ng pinag-uusapan niyo?"

Jane smiled at him. Aly looked worried. He waited for her respond but see just looked away.

JANE: "Well you see..."

ALY: "Jane, don't!"

JANE: "...you know that weird clichés that happened in the movies? Where a group of friends bets on another friend to make a fool of someone?" she didn't bother to stop from her friend's obvious demand.

JUSTIN: "Ano?" tanong niya. Kahit na natunog na niya kung ano ang gusto nitong sabihin.

JANE: "Aly was supposed to reject you when you ask her on a date. But, as I sit here talking to you, that doesn't seemed to be the case..." she's smiling wickedly "...that means, she owed me".

The whole time Jane spoke, nakatingin lang siya kay Aly. Naghihintay ng sasabihin nito. O naghihintay na itanggi ang mga sinasabi ng kaibigan. But the whole time she didn't.

JANE: "I see you around Aly?" sabi nito nang tumayo "And nice meeting you. This was fun..." huling sabi naman nito sa kaniya. Five minutes have passed since Jane left until Aly said something.

ALY: "Justin... that was all a misunderstanding..." her tone of voice returned from what he rememberd about her.

JUSTIN: "I think I need to go..." his muscles are all trembling out of anger. He needed to get out of there bago pa siya may masabing masama dito.

ALY: "Justin!"

Ken was just going out from the campus to get lunch when he saw Justin walking towards his direction. Akala niya ay nakita rin siya nito kaya huminto siya para batiin. Ngunit lumagpas lang ito sa kaniya sa bilis nang lakad na para bang hindi siya nakita.

KEN: "Justin!" tawag niya. Nang hindi ito lumingon sa kaniya ay tumakbo siya at hinabol ito "Uy, pre!" tigil niya sa harap nito nang maabutan.

JUSTIN: "Ken!"

KEN: "Sa'n ang punta mo?"

JUSTIN: "I think I'd call it a day and go home. Medyo pagod lang..."

KEN: "Akala ko ba magkasama kayo ni Aly?" hindi ito nakasagot nang banggitin niya ang pangalan ng babae "May nangyari ba?"

JUSTIN: "Something came up, and she needed to go first..."

KEN: "Ganoon ba..."

JUSTIN: "Mauna na ako... I'll see you on Monday, then?" akma itong aalis nang muli ay humarang siya dito. Sabay inabot ang papel na nakaipit sa bulsa niya. "Ano to?" tanong ni Justin.

KEN: "Its Ella's... She wanted me to give it to you..." inabot naman iyon ni Justin. By his reaction, he looked like he woke up from something "You should check it out" tinapik ni Ken si Justin sa balikat at siya na ang naunang umalis.

"Ella! Come on! Malelate ta'yo sa performance ng Drama Club niyan!"

By the end of the day, everyone was exhausted from all the people who came and saw their photos. A lot of people requested for copies of her pieces. And all the donations that she got will be for the School Paper.

Which she's only honored to give.

"Tol, tingnan mo! Siya 'yun diba?" rinig ni Justin na nagbubulungan ang dalawang lalaking estudyante sa harap ng malaking silid kung saan naroon daw si Ella.
