Hello, Mr. Celebrity (Larry Stylinson)

I felt a few tears build up in my eyes as he continued. "She went out that night to pick YOU up from the Horan's house! If YOU had never been at their house she never would have gone to get you, and that drunk never would've hit her car!" he screamed.

Tears poured down my cheeks as he told me things I already knew. It's all true. It's my fault my mommy is dead.

"IF YOU HAD NEVER BEEN BORN, SHE WOULD STILL BE HERE RIGHT NOW YOU LITTLE BRAT!" he screamed right in my face.

He delivered one last blow to my face, giving me a black eye before standing up and storming out of my room, slamming the door behind him.

I didn't bother picking myself up from where I lay, a bloody mess. I just curled my legs up into my stomach and let the tears flow down my bruised cheeks.

Everything he said was true. It's my fault that my mother died. I flashed back to that dreadful night.

****(FLASHBACK)****

My 7 year old self sat contently at my Aunt and Uncle's kitchen table, coloring a picture happily. Bobby and Maura Horan aren't really related to me at all, but they have been my parent's best friends since high school. Their son Niall and I have been best friends since we were born.

I was drawing a picture of a man and a woman. They were walking through a meadow holding the hands of a small child who was walking in between them.

The drawing was of me and Mommy and Daddy. I was going to surprise my mommy with it when she came to get me.

I was humming the tune of a song I had heard Uncle Bobby playing on the radio that sat on the kitchen counter earlier that day. I didn't know what the song was called, but it sounded beautiful.

Mommy is going to be so happy when I gave her my picture! Then she'll show it to Daddy, and he will pick me up in his arms and spin me around and tell me how much he loves me.

I love my parents so much. They are the nicest Mom and Dad ever! Daddy always plays Peter Pan with me, and Mommy reads me stories before bed time.

At the bottom of the drawing, I wrote carefully, "To Mommy and Daddy. Love Louis" and drew a big heart next to my message, smiling to myself.

Suddenly, Maura came stumbling into the kitchen with the phone pressed to her ear. She looked pale, and had tears in her eyes.

"W-What's wrong Aunt Maura?" I asked, suddenly feeling very scared.

She just looked at me sadly, then called for Uncle Bobby to come in here right now.

He came into the room with a smile, but it quickly disappeared when he saw the look on his wife's face.

"Maura, what's wrong?" he asked immediately.

Tears raced down her cheeks at a rapid pace. "It's Jay..." she whispered brokenly.

He sucked in a breath, glancing at me from the corner of his eye.

"What happened?" he asked quietly. He sounded terrified to hear her answer.

Maura hesitated as a choked sob escaped her lips. "She's b-been in an accident. A d-drunk driver..."

I was very scared now. I didn't know exactly what was happening, but I was smart enough to know what car accidents are.

Bobby lost all color in his face and he asked, "Is s-she...?"

Another sob shook Maura, and she shook her head. "She d-died on i-impact." she said, sounding heartbroken over her best friend.
