"I was warm. Plus I got a stupid interview this afternoon." I said.
Matt looked back and forth between Josh and I, then shrugged.
"You know what? I don't even give a shit if you're lying or not. I'm too tired." Matt said.
I smiled and rolled my eyes. "Kevvy and Dani wear you out, eh?" I asked.
Matt moaned and nodded. "First he wanted me to ride go-carts with him, then Dani wanted me to go shopping with her, then he wanted to get smoothies, then she wanted to go get coffee, then this, then that... NICOLE DIDN'T EXHAUST ME AS MUCH!" he said.
"Yeah because she was in a car accident four years ago so she literally CAN'T exhaust you. She can still hardly even ride a bike!" I said.
Matt looked at me funny. "Nicole was in a car accident?" he asked.
I furrowed my eyebrows. "Yes! Right before you guys broke up. That's why she had to leave. No jobs in the 'Couve she could do." I said.
"I never knew that..." he mumbled.
"No wonder you both broke up. You never payed attention to her." I mumbled, turning on my heel and going into the kitchen with Josh on my heels.
"How was Nicole in a car accident? How'd it happen?" he asked. I couldn't believe I was the only one who knew about this. IT'S BEEN FOUR GOD DAMN YEARS.
"Her brother was getting married, and they were in a cab, and she was sitting on his lap trying to tie his tie, and a drunk driver rear ended the cab, her brother died blocking her from the shattering windsheild." I said, getting a drink.
"Wow... So what happened to her?" he asked.
"Glass hit her brain. She was in a coma for two days. I can't believe you guys never knew this!" I said.
"Well, we aren't best friends with her, and she moved." he said.
"Touche." I said. Josh laughed.
We talked a bit, as we made lunch. When we were done, Josh looked at me and smiled.
"So what was that stuff about 'Not Yet' in the bedroom?" he asked, grinning like an idiot and wiggling his eyebrows.
I felt my cheeks burn. "We have been dating a while, Josh..." I mumbled quietly.
Josh put his arm around me and gave me an evil grin. "What was that? I can't hear you!" he said.
I rolled my eyes. "I said, we have been dating for a while..." I said, normally.
"That-a-girl." he said, kissing my cheek. I gave him a small smile, my bang falling into my face.
Josh tucked it back behind my ear. I smiled. I realized what time it was, went up on my toes (yes, I'm in heels and Josh is STILL taller than me) and kissed his mouth.
"Bye!" I called, going out the door.
. . .
(A/N : Okay, I'm watching the interview and writing it so pardon me if I get crap wrong. I'm tired.)
"Hey what's up guys? It's Chelsea Briggs here with Lights!" Chelsea said. It's awesome because I met up with Chelsea for another interview a while back.
"It's nice to see you again." I said, trying to sound serious, but I ended up laughing.
"Nice to see you too!" she said. "I know last time we saw each other I was working on Bust."
