Sing-song ♥

We went on talking for 2 hours.
"Anna! Koryn's here!" Her dad had shouted while he opened the door.
"Koryn?" Her head snapped up. "Hide!" she hissed at me. I scrambled into the wardrobe but she shunned me out of there.
"Koryn likes clothes! Somewhere else!" She insisted. I scrambled into the bathroom and hid behind the shower curtain, just in time.
"Heloooey Koryn!"
"Helooey? Gosh what is wrong with you, Anna?"
"Sorry" She mumbled. They sat talking- Well Koryn talked. Liesel listened. I didn't until I heard my name mentioned.
"Oh and Justin Bieber has gone missing!" Koryn said boredly.
"Really?" Liesel said in mock shock. I could hear it in her voice.
"Mhm yeah."
My phone rang. Aww crap. MY PHONE RANG!

"Oops! That's my phone!" Liesel covered for me. I still owe her one for that.
"Hello? No...he's not here... Koryn could you wait here for a bit, this phone call is private...Okay sorry, I'm back"
I heard her footsteps advancing towards the bathroom. She opends the door, locks it and passes me the phone. 'Nathan' she mouths.
"Eh hello?"
"You coming back yet, little man?"
"Nope"
"We will find you"
"If you insist." I shrugged.
She stood at the door, biting her nails.
"Nathan, I have to go." I sighed.
"WAIT, YOU STILL HAVEN'T TOLD US WHERE-"
"Here." I handed over the cell to Liesel. She winked then went back into her room. They talked about random things in the room.
"Anna, do you think that I should dump Jacob?" Koryn's high-pitched voice said.
"Um..." I knew what she was thinking. "Why?"
"Because of my connection with Justin Bieber! He's probably gone missing looking for me!"
"Yes, he probably has. Dump him if you want." She said stifling her giggles

"What's so funny?"
"A lot of things. Koryn, what would you do if Justin Bieber was really in my house, right this moment"
I froze. If she blew my cover I would have screamed.
"Urgh, not this again. I'd kiss him, because I know he likes me. Okay?" She replied, irratibly.
"Well, how are you sure? What if he likes me?" She mumbled softly. But I have bat ears and heard her. Koryn laughed.
"You? Who in their right mind will go for you? You're not even pretty, you're just a average girl. Anyway, I'm going."
"Huh? Oh yeah bye." She sounded like she was on the verge of tears. I heard the door slam and came out of the bathroom.
"So." I said.
"Hmm? Oh hi" she said, putting on a brave smile. She knew I didn't like crying at all. I sighed.
"How are you?" I asked her, completely worried. It's people like Koryn who destroy self-esteem.
"I-I-I'm fine" She sniffed. "I won't cry. Did you hear the conversation"
"Parts of it."
She fiddled with the pillow before the first tears fell.
"You can cry if you want" I said to her.
"It's okay. I won't" She bit her lip. I sat next to her. "My shoulder is here for you" I said, patting it.
"Good. Because a flood is coming"
She cried on my shoulder.
"There there," I sighed "You're not ugly". She cried for another 5 minutes before she calmed down.
"Are you okay now? " I asked her and gently took her head of my shoulder
"Yeah" She she said "Sorry about that. I don't know why I cried"
"It's okay." I thought of something to do to cheer her up. "Y'know that Bruno Mars song? Just the way you are? Well, shall I sing it to you?" I asked her. Her eyes widened.
"S-s-sing? For me?"
"If you want me to" I smiled at her.
"Yes! "
I stand up and look at her.
"Are you ready for this?" I asked her. She nodded. "Really ready?"
"Yeah"
"Okay, here goes."
I opened my mouth and my voice came out. I didn't know the song fully so I hummed the bits I didn't know.

I finished. She was smiling at me.
"Happy now?"
"Very much"
I smiled. No more crying then. We talked to each other until late when she finally went to bed. I sighed. I had been wearing the same clothes for 2 days now.
"Night Liesel"
She snored as I rolled under the bed, for a good night's rest.
