The guards open the door, and I entered into the Pavilion of Maharaj Pandu's Palace. The golden walls shining with thousands of lamps. The distance musings of cuckoo is heating my ear drums in a soothing manner.
I ask to myself, and then, "I don't know" I reply to myself in a coy smile. This coyness in me is not uncommon now, the uncertain blushes, coyness, shyness, unnecessary smile has become a regular habit of me, just like a craziness which I am unable to suppress.
"Hail hail Yuvrani Draupadi"
The chorus of the armed guards around the pavilion pops the thought of mine. But, it's not only just pop my thought, but it's bring back in the land of reality, which is even more beautiful than the dream– the land where my Arya resides.
Maybe, not maybe, that's surely, these blushes, shyness, coy feeling, everything is the resultant. I never believed that, I also will feel so. I again blush.
The throne of Hastinapur today has gotten their crown prince and undoubtedly it's none other than eldest Pandav Yudhishthir. His worthiness is unquestionable, not only we, but also the whole Aryavart believes it.
So, as me, I performed worship near Mahadev, and that's why in this night I am here in the pavilion.
Ending the pavilion surrounded by flowery garden, finally I entered into the main hall. The centre broad table is overflowing with the scrolls. The ink pot is empty and several peacock feather smeared in ink is lying simultaneously on the edge of that table. The cushions and silk coveres of the couch around the table too unorganised.
I smile to myself. A huge round of continuous debate and discussion has already happened among my husbands and now, no doubt they are resting on their respective chamber, maybe waiting for me only. One handed my mischievous mind wanting to stay silently here, making them waiting more, but, on the other hand, my eagering heart craving for them.
I turning left ends into the eastern quarter, where my eldest husband's chamber resides.
As usual the guards opens the door.
"Arya–" and shifting the red curtains, "May I come?" I ask.
The blueish room is slightly gloomy and some oil lambs glowing near to extinction. Near the window side desk, he is standing and reading a scroll. The whole blue color is reflecting on his fair shiny skin, jewels along with his siffon blue cloak. Hearing my call, resting that scroll of hand on desk, he turns.
"Do wife need to ask permission to enter in her husband's chamber?" He says providing a smile, then curving a bit his eyes, he continues, "though it's her own chamber too."
I can't say anything. I wasn't prepare for this question actually. He understood me. Coming near to me, looking at the worship plate, he asks. "What occasion was today?"
"You" I straight looks into his lotus eye pair. The ever wanted wish of us has fulfilled today. My eyes unknowingly glisten up. The more my eyes was craving for his look, that more my self wanting to be with him. I rest my plate on a nearby table and embraces him encircling my slender hands around his broad chest and back.
"Me?" Embracing his left arm around me he asks. "Now what have I done?"
"You did, your deeds. I am happy, we are happy, so Mata Kunti offers worship near Mahadev". Leaning onto his chest, resting my head there, I utters. My emotion are overflowing.
He coys easily. I am sure, he is now too. As I can hear his heartbeat just on my hear suddenly becomes a bit more rapid, thrumming on his chest.
Suppressing a shy smile and blushy cheeks, he utters. "What to say, how to say, I am not getting anything. Just Thankyou Panchali, for having with me all time with faith, love and trust."
