A cold rainy night, the rain lightly tapping on the window. The light breeze hitting the tree's, ruffling the beautiful leaves. The calm of night made it easy to sleep, but that would end soon as the Twin Sayers rose to shine their light on Ikisha. The sun hit the window to the treehouse, a loud yawn could be heard throughout the house. Today was like any normal day. She gets up, her hair messy and still tired, she heads to the bathroom and looks at herself in the mirror. The scar on her left eye and the one on her lip seem to be doing better. She brushed her teeth and fixed her hair. She finished up and from there went outside, watered her plants but today it felt off, as if there were eyes on her. She didn't feel safe, so she hurried things up. A ruffle in the bushes caught her attention, "Oh shit is you" she was scared but soon realized it was the woman she loves, Emma Rose A-class sniper. "Ah you should have seen your face" Emma laughed mocking Ikari. They shared some laughs and went inside to talk about how life's been going. Emma is slightly fun to have around, she always brightens the room around her.
As the door swung open the smell of fresh bread hit Emma's nose. She knows about Ikari's hobbies and bread making is one of them, " when did you last make bread?" Emma asked, fairly curious. "Yesterday I guess you can still smell it, sorry about that" Ikari said, a little embarrassed. "Oh don't apologize, you know I love the smell of fresh bread, so can I try it?" Emma asked with puppy eyes. Ikari, not being one to disappoint, went to her kitchen and got Emma a slice of bread with a little butter. "Here you go, I hope you like it," said Ikari with a smile. Emma took the slice of bread impatiently, wanting to taste it. She happily took a bite of it, her eyes lit up with excitement, "My goodness this tastes like the warmest of welcomes" Emma said with such a warm smile, it made Ikari's heart skip a few beats. "I'm glad you like it, it took me awhile to finish" Ikari says happily. "So tell me what are you doing today" Ikari asked wanting to listen to Emma's plans. "Well to be honest I'm not sure I don't have training today so is more of what happens thru the day"Emma said slightly sad about the long day that awaits her. "If you want you can come with me have a few errands to run" said Ikari with a smile. "Oh of course I will, you just saved me from a boring day"Emma says extremely excited. "Alright sounds good, I'ma go get the paperwork that I need then we can head out" Ikari says.
