He looked at you with wide eyes as he slowly regained himself thanks to it.
His hand squeezed yours gratefully and his fingers naturally slid between yours.
He was ever-cautious of where you stepped incase something came crashing down.
Farnese and Casca weren't far off in the woods waiting safely.
Guts quickly got into a scary fight with the crowd of apostles outside. He was in no condition to be fighting and yet there were no hesitations.
Schierke located her mistress only to realize there were no way to get to her.. Flora had openly accepted her fate and spoke to Shierke through the door to sooth her.
Tears poured down her cheeks but Flora had a firm request involving Guts.
Shierke obeyed begrudgingly as she lead you all deeper inside the burning building.
A flaming beam came crashing down and Isidro jumped tackling Shierke out of the way. You felt Serpico pull you back from it.
You all stopped upon a dark room noticing a peculiar energy in the air. It was emitting off some strange armour. It looked as though it were waiting for someone.
"Is that for Guts?!" Isidro looked at it alarmed. It looked as though it were evil giving you all chills.
"Yes. Unfortunately this might be his only option. He is dying out there"
Shierke sent a message to lure him here.
You could all hear the sounds of crashes and metal clanking. What the heck were he fighting out there?
The door abruptly opened as Guts's body fell in.
Your eyes widened seeing all the blood.
He was way worse than before.
Schierke kept hesitating. The armor was dangerous but there really were no other options.
"Quick! We must get the armor on!" She ordered. Flora herself had requested this.
You all hustled to dress him with the strange dark metal. You grew nervous hearing the crashing sounds coming from the other side of the door.
Something was trying to get in and it sounded dangerous.
You could hear it breaking through and quickly grabbed your spear.
Serpico grabbed you quicker though.
You both stared at each other with equally serious expressions.
It appeared you two were in a disagreement still.
You both got startled when Guts suddenly pushed you two apart to walk through.
You couldn't believe he were even on his feet right now. What exactly was that armour?
The apostle practically broke through when in a matter of seconds he launched through the doorway like some cannon.
None of you could breath when you saw the way he moved while wearing that thing...
He were like some super human..
Schierke nervously explained that he couldn't feel pain anymore.. That's what were allowing him to fight like some demon.. and that's why his life were at risk.
You looked closer noticing the amont of blood gushing from his armor as he moved at inhuman speeds. You felt nauseous just seeing it..
The place was swarming with apostles as they attacked from every angle. One attempted to snatch you whilst off guard.
Serpico pushed you behind him protectively slicing its arm off. The apostle screamed out while Serpico pulled you to run.
Schierke soon realized she would have to stop Guts before he went too far with the armour. In order to do this she would have to leave her body.
You were all left to defend her and you clenched your spear nervously.
Serpico squeezed your hand causing you to look at him in question.
"It requires a calm mind." He stated knowing you were likely worrying about the elementals.
The way he spoke itself calmed you.
You tried to ease your racing heart as you felt the waves of emotion struggle to settle. This reminded you of how out of balance water could be. ...But every once in a while it could take solid form.
Serpico waved his sword handling the closer apostles. Your eyes widened seeing how this left him open to another one.
You jabbed your spear in the direction of the apostle as its torso froze solid. You sprinted over striking it as hard as you possibly could causing it to shatter.
The breeze carried the sparkling particles through the air as Isidro looked over in awe.
Serpico gave you a thankful look. He was proud of you.
From there things became a blur. Shierke managed to reach Guts just in time before he damaged his body beyond repair.
You were all certain he were hanging above death from the way his body bled out. Even his limbs had been snapped the wrong way but the armour snapped them back...
Flora's astral body took form like an enormous flame of the skies. She was beautiful and young as she divided the battlefield like some force of nature.
This allowed for a quick escape and she said her goodbyes to Shierke as you all fled. Serpico didn't let go of your hand once.
