the last time

part twelve

I shake away the thoughts and replace them with the viewing party for tonight. It's barely 10am but Janine will be at my house at twelve. We have to work out my schedule for next year then start setting up for the party.

I can't wait to see Aurora's reaction to the video. I was blown away and Olivia also reached out to me a few days ago saying she loved Aurora and felt like she'd make a perfect 'Mary' for the movie. She agreed to call her tomorrow and say she wants her to audition for the movie. I cannot wait for Aurora's reaction.

If all goes well tonight, Aurora will have a movie role by tomorrow and we'll get to work with each other again. I hold in a breath hoping I'm not asking for much. Aurora deserves this, I know she does.

I open the door for Janine and she greets me with one of her smiles.

"Hey, Harry. Shall we get started? We have a busy year planned out for you."

I nod and let her in, following her to my office.

"Great, can't wait," I say sarcastically.

She gets comfortable on the couch in my office and sets up on a coffee table. She pulls out a binder, her laptop, and what looks like a planner.

"Look, I know you want as much free time as possible so you can visit your mum so I'm doing what I can," she says as she opens up her laptop. I grab one of the chairs by my desk and pull it to the opposite side of the coffee table.

"At least the filming for Don't Worry Darling takes place in the beginning of the year. It'll be best to get it over with and then get ready for tour."

She looks up at me, "Actually, Olivia called. There's been some scheduling conflicts with another project of hers so filming might be pushed back to March. She's not sure just yet so we do have to make two schedules, just in case."

I groan and run my hands over my face in annoyance. I lean back on the chair and stare at the ceiling.

"Jesus," I say, "Just what I needed."

"Harry, relax. They're tentative schedules. We're just trying to get a feel for it before making your actual schedule. Changes can be made, alright?"

"Alright, let's get started. We should really set a timeline for the tour first. That way we can start making calls and booking places to perform."

"I agree. What months were you thinking?"

"I was thinking we start in July and end in October or the beginning of November. That way the holidays are off for everyone and we can spend the rest of the year with our families."

She nods and types into her laptop.

"Okay, this can work if filming starts in January. If not, we may be able to push it to the beginning of August and end just before Thanksgiving."

"Okay, seems fair."

"Harry?" I hear my mum call.

Janine doesn't look away from her laptop as I get up and go check on my mum.

"Yeah, mum?" I ask as I close my office door.

"Gemma is asleep so I thought I could go for a walk. Would you like to join me?"

I look back at my office door and then at my mum.

"Mum, I have some work to do and I really don't like the idea of you walking around New York by yourself."

"Honey, I'll be fine. I just want to grab some fresh air. I'll have my phone on me in case of anything."

"Mum, I–" My phone rings and cuts me off. I sigh and hold up a finger to tell my mum to wait. Mum crosses her arms and nods. "Hello?" I say rather angrily.
