She laughed and composed herself. When Lauren went to go get another blanket, I picked out a movie.
She leaned against me, and wrapped herself in one blanket, then put the other one over me too. We always watch the same movie, so basically this was just an excuse to spend 77 minutes together.
Around the middle, Lauren got uncomfortable and tired.
"I never realized how uncomfy this couch was." she groaned. I smirked.
"Says the girl that was asleep on the couch when I got home." I said. She looked at me and rolled her eyes.
"It was comfy then, but it isn't now!" she whined.
She was standing up, so I stood up all the while scooping her up in my arms. She giggled a bit. I kissed her lips. I wasn't worried about getting sick. Lauren usually feels sick for about a day, then she's fine.
"You're going to go sweepy in our room, okayyy?" I asked in the baby voice she said annoys her but she finds it funny.
She laughed, and tucked herself into my chest. I smiled, and brought her up in our room. As we were about to walk up the stairs, Matt and Kevvy came in.
"Kevvy!" Lauren cheered, and they both did one of those running hug things.
I laughed, and Matt pouted. "He's my Kevvy." he whined.
Lauren chuckled, looked back at me and put her arms out. "Okay, now I'd like to nap." she said.
I rolled my eyes, and picked her up again. I carry this girl around too much, I thought.
. . .
Lauren woke herself up 15 times last night because she was coughing. How would I know this? I fell asleep for about ten minutes, then she woke me up and I was awake for the rest of the night.
Soon enough it was a good time to wake up (the usual time of 7 o'clock) so Lauren and I went downstairs because if we went downstairs at like, 3 AM, we wouldn't woken the guys up.
Lauren got a glass of water, then curled up on the couch next to me. Her cheeks were red, but she looked so pale.
"I feel like crap." she mumbled. She rubbed her eyes.
"I mean this in a nice way, but you don't look to good either." I said. She looked at me and smirked.
"Thanks. I needed that." she said. I smiled and kissed her head.
"You know what I meant." I said. She nodded and laughed.
The guys came down the stairs, dressed and looking like they had a job to do.
"Josh, get your ass upstairs and change or you're going to the studio wearing your pajamas." Matt said.
"What?" I asked.
"You forgot we were going to the studio didn't you?" Mike laughed. I nodded, and Lauren looked up at me.
"But Lauren's sick. Shouldn't somebody be home with her?" I asked. Really, I was just too tired to go anywhere.
"Well... I guess we aren't doing anything important.. I guess you could stay home with her." Matt said.
I looked at Lauren, who pouted. "No, I don't want to get Josh sick." she said.
Matt bit his lip. Despite the fact she was 20-ish now, Matt was still his normal overprotective big brother self.
(A/N : I didn't write 20-ish to make Josh seem like a forgetful boyfriend, but I seriously can't remember how old Lauren is now.)
