It's was 7:45 am and the alarm was going off repeatedly. She groans and lifts her head pulling the pillow off. In the back she hears a voice yelling. "JUST TURN IT OFF INSTEAD OF SNOOZING IT 6 TIMES, JEEZ MAR" it's was her friend Eryn, complaining per usual. Margo jumps up.
"Wtf are you doing here and how did you get in my room" Margo questioned wiping her eyes. She looked at her window which was wide open. "You didn't." Her face drops and she looks at Eryn. She rolls her eyes and gets up and walks into the bathroom. She gets ready and walks back into her room. Eryn was missing and her backpack was gone. She then heard a honk. Looking out her window she sees her mom, Eryn, and Wes in the car.
Margo goes down stairs and gets in. They start blasting and singing My Kind of Woman - Mac Demarco, 505 - Arctic Monkeys, and My Heart is Buried in Venice - Ricky Montgomery. Finally they arrive at school and Margo tells her mom bye. When they walk in they see their other friends. Tyler, Eli, Lani, and Onaya.
"Hey you guys go ahead, I'm gonna stop to get some water" Margo says opening her water bottle. She was facing Eryn and Wes who nodded walking away and she bumped into someone. "Oh shit, sorry." She says turning to face the right way. There stands a taller boy with fluffy brown hair, a grey Nike sweater, with a silver chain just barely showing off the collar. He turns to face Margo and looks her in the eyes. They continue starring at eachother in silence, but a comfortable like silence. After a while one of them finally says something.
"Uh, sorry you were trying to get water. Here, let me." He says holding out his hand for her water bottle. She smiles and hands it to him. He takes off the lid and turns to fill it with water. "Margo." She says quietly as he finishes filly up the water screwing the lid back on.
"What?" He says handing the water back to her. "Margo, my name is Margo." She smiles titling her head to the side a bit. "And you are?" She says opening her water. She tilts her head back a bit and drinks from it maintaining eye contact the whole time. His eyes dim as a smirk crawls up on his face. "Right, I forgot we haven't exchanged names. It's Jayden, Jayden Leonard." She puts the water down and closes the lid.
"Well Mr Leonard, it was great meeting you, but I have to go catch up with my friends. See you around." They exchanged smiles and Margo walks away and goes to her friends. "It took you fucking 10 minutes to fill up a damn water bottle???" Lani says questioning. Margo laughs and greets everyone. They all talk for a bit when the boys say they have to go get ready for gym. Eli and Ty get up and walk away. They have football practice in gym today so they wanna be prepared.
20 minutes later
"We should probably head to class now, bell is gonna ring in like 5 minutes. What's our next class again?" Wes asks yawning. "Uhhh, we have gym as well and since the football players and volleyball players are taking up the gym and field we basically have a free day, we can choose whether to go to the gym or field." Lani says while still looking into her phone. Margo starts thinking about the interaction she had this morning. She smiles to her self thinking about Jayden, how she likes his fluffy brown hair and the way he looked at her, and god those eyes.
