Sage's pov:
I woke up that morning like I did every other morning, tired and not ready for the day ahead of me. I put on a pair of baggy, washed out black pants, a green waterparks shirt, a black jacket and black and white converse. once I got dressed I got into my car and drove to school. I was in my second semester of my senior year, aka my last semester of school ever and I was glad it was almost over.

    First period went by as well as it could. That class was so boring and so was the teacher. I walked to second period with my friend Kate, "oh sage i forgot to tell you," said Kate. "what's up," i said looking at her confused. "David likes you,"'she said calmly. "David as in second period, David," i said back. "yup,"and with her response we sat down in our stools in chemistry.

     David had followed me on instagram the night before. I knew him but not really well so I thought it was odd that he liked me. I guess I would just have to tell him that I don't like him back.
    The rest of the day was pretty chill, basically just listened to music the whole day. I would describe my music taste as rock, you know i listen to the heavier stuff. You know bands like pierce the veil and bring me the horizon and tons more of that scene. But, there was one boy band that I liked, they are called prettymuch. You know the typical boy band who sings about love and all the members are super hot.

      I was doing my homework when I get a message on instagram. It was from David.

after that I decided that I would tell him the truth. That I don't like him. I didn't want to make it seem like I was leading him on.

and with that I was left on read. I felt bad but at the same time I didn't. I didn't like him and he just had to except that.
The next day at school was pretty chill, until lunch. I was sitting down with Kate when David came up to us. "Can I talk to you Sage," he said. I got up and gestured him to walk. "What's up," I said looking up at him. "I really like you," he said. "David i already told you I don't like you like that," I said with a harsh tone. "come on sage," he slightly raising his tone. After that I don't know what came over me or why I thought it was a good idea to say what I said next but, I looked up and yelled "I have a boyfriend!," as soon as I said that I instantly regretted it . "oh," he said and looked sad. "Wait who is it?" he asked. "what grade is he in?" he kept asking questions like this. "just leave me alone ok," I said to him and walked away.

That whole night he kept asking me questions about my "boyfriend" I just tried to ignore him. The next day at school, the same thing but in person. "you keep dodging all my questions," he said, "I don't even think you have a boyfriend," he said then walked away. That's when I knew I was gonna have to make this more legit.
