Serpico x Reader Part 6

He panicked and dropped on his knees.

Lady Farnese screamed out his name as Guts looked over. He angrily dodged another attack wishing to help.

Suddenly that electric determination returned. Serpico swiftly created a strong gust of wind expelling all the water. He felt relief being able to breath again and quickly went in for another attack.

This time he got launched outside the barrier. He landed directly on the spike of a troll club puncturing his abdomen.

The water horse readied another strike when Serpico's eyes widened in alarm.

You had run out in the middle of the pouring rain standing between it and Serpico.

Isidro looked at you then back to where you once stood.

"What the- how did she?!"

Somehow you slipped past and to everyone's horror you stood head on with the beast to protect Serpico.

You truly had no idea how to use this thing you worriedly glanced at the spear.
That mattered not to you though. You weren't just going to let him die.

Serpico pushed to stand only to realize the serious extent of his wound..

The elementals flashed and sparked on the tip of the spear as you struggled to control it.

The creature began to create water bombs which it launched at you. You acted fast running to dodge them while luring it away from Serpico.

You were sent crashing through a wooden house as one connected with your shoulder.

Guts looked over in alarm but the troll forced him to keep fighting otherwise he would've run to your aid.

The wind got knocked out of you as you struggled to even breath..

You could hear people screaming your name as you tried to keep from passing out. You felt your clothes drench with water until you realized it were unnaturally seeping up your body.

It quickly engulfed your airways causing you to panic. Through the water you locked your sights on the target and motioned the spear with your last bit of energy.

The horse shrieked when a huge spear of ice emerged spiking its abdomen as you collapsed in the puddle.

Isidro felt something unnatural was approaching. He could sense something shaking the earth as he ran out to see what was next.

His eyes widened seeing a huge tsunami of water travelling this way.

Serpico's eyes were wide and when he heard the water coming he forced himself to move despite the deep wound.
He actually sprinted to you as the water crashed behind him.

Even Guts had to rush to grab hold of something as the water blew in like a tyrant.

They all watched in horror as Serpico just barely reached your body and you both got swept by the current.

He held onto you tightly and with his other arm latched onto a nearby branch with desperation.

He could see the horse still partially alive on that stake you created. Biting down the pain he used his sword to slice it in half.
