as the thrill of finally flying again wore off, i started to get tense. tense because of the ranks. people only used ranks like this when there was a huge risk of attack. were harry and i in more danger than i evn thought before. i thought the whole reason i had to live with the dursely was because their house was protected against attacks like this. so if that were truly so, then why were we being taken from that housee and moved to lord knows where. no one told us where we were heading. tonks mentioned a headquarters, but that ment absolutly nothing.

harry stuck close to me on the ride, like he was aware of these facts and unanswered questions as well. no one said a word as we flew. i kept my eyes on moodys back, worried i would lose sight of him and get lost. i knew that that was unlikely to happen, but with everything going on that irrational fear would not go away. at least i wasnt having a full blown panic attack. i had ben having those every so often during the summer. usually when i wake up from a nightmare. but they happened less and less often as the summer passed, luckily. i think my mind just needed to process everything in its own time.

It was still dark when we landed, early morning. We were in a residential area. One with many the story houses all attached and all the same. The front yards were only a handful of steps away from the street.

Moody stopped in front of the buildings marked 11 and 13. He taped his walking sick three times this time. I watched in silence as the buildings rumbled and moved apart to squeeze out another apartment marked 12. The muggles didnt seem to notice another house squeezing out from nowhere. I swear, they didnt notice anything, muggles. Harry looked around, still impressed about the things magic can do. I just smiled. This was a creative peice of work, all right.

"In you go, you two." Moody said when the building was finished moving into place. I walked ahead of harry, anxious to get inside where it was supposed to be safe. I felt very exposed.

Inside the front door was a hallway lined with pictures to dusty to make out. Their occupants were long gone, moved on to better pictures I suppose. At the end of this hall I could see a unbrella stand made from a troll foot, a couple of closed doors, and a staircase. As I got closer to the end of the hallway I could hear talking from behind one of the closed doors.

"There have been no sightings. No deaths. No proof." One voice said.

"He almost killed harry and bry. If that isnt proof enough..." said another

"Yes, but guarding you-know-what is the most important..." another said calmly.

I was suddenly pushed aside as moody, tonks, Kingsley, and the others filed past and entered the closed door the voices came from. I could no longer hear what the voices were saying over the footsteps of everyone. Harry moved pay me as well, his eyes on the now open door. Sirius sat facing the door, arguing with another man I hadn't seen before. The man had a friendly vibe to him. And on the other side was mr. Weasley, looking tired. What were so many wizards and witches doing here?

"Harry, bry." Mrs weasley greeted as she left the room with the apparent meeting and closed the door behind her.

"Mrs. Weasley." I said back happy to see her again. She was the closest thing I've ever had to a mother.

"Heavens, you're all right." Mrs weasley said pulling us both in for a hug. She looked us over discreetly.

"Bit peeky. But I'm afraid dinner will have to wait until after the meeting is finished." Mrs weasley continued.

Hay and I both started talking. I wanted to join the meeting. It looked important. And if it was about voldemort, I think hay and I had the right to know.
