"Up here," he said soothingly before leaping to his feet.

"Are you okay?" you asked, trying to see his eyes through his curls. "Did you get hurt anywhere?"

"Nope, Mariposa" He shrugged his shoulders with little-boy cuteness. "However, it's nice to know you care."
