Serpico x Reader Part 5

Without looking Serpico pulled you so you were walking on the inside of the group not the outer edge.

You all continued through the woods quietly. Isidro noticed something ahead and ran off.

"It's a person!!"

Serpico hurried over helping the unconscious man laying in the mud.

He offered to help him and even asked Guts' permission to assist him along safely from the forest.

"There's somewhere I must go first" he explained frantically drawing all your attention as he spoke of a witch in the woods. He explained how trolls had been attacking the village and you shuddered having seen them yourself.

Guts gave the go ahead and Serpico generously lifted the old man onto his own back.

You smiled at how sweet and strong he were..

The man guided you all with direction through the woods until the group stumbled across a mysterious house in the woods.

The old man perked up as he saw the place.

"It's real!!" He exclaimed with excitement.

Guts had a strange feeling about this place..

Your jaw practically hit the floor. It was lush and green like some fairytale world..

A massive glowing tree was rooted around a house in the centre. Even Puck seemed awestruck.

Isidro ran over toward some strange statue in the grass and Guts yelled for him to get away from it.

Before you knew it Isidro bumped into it and it came to life.

Whatever sense of excitement there was, soon vanished when those strange things multiplied and came after you all.

Serpico came to your protection pushing you behind him as he swiped the head off one. You both watched with dismay as the creature regenerated a new head and started forward again.

Serpico kept pushing you back as he was forced to use more space while fighting these things off.

Grassy limbs and bits flew everywhere catching Casca's attention.

Casca suddenly reached into the broken pieces lifting something up.

Serpico's keen gaze caught site of whatever wiggled in her fingers. His mind was quick to piece it together.

Like a herald he announced to everyone what were controlling them and how to destroy them.

Guts smirked facing the big one once again as he destroyed it instantly.

Serpico showed off his swordsmanship artfully stabbing them with one quick hit.

Suddenly the front door of the house opened revealing the young girl from before. The witch who saved you all in the forest.

She politely invited you in and you were all unable to pay attention as mysterious things littered the house.

Isidro couldn't stop touching things in awe and you even found yourself doing the same drawing a smirk out of Serpico.
