Serpico's eyebrows furrowed looking back to see Farnese hadn't returned with her..

It was already growing dark too.

Casca went straight for the food and Isidro had to fend her off from eating it straight from the fiery pot.

"Farnese?!" Serpico's eyes widened as you all straightened realizing she was missing.

"Farnese!!" He frantically shouted running off.

You stood up quickly but Guts brought out his arm stopping you.

"One of you missing is enough, it's too dangerous to go" he looked up at the sky as you saw it were beginning to go dark again.

You really started to worry over them. You wanted to go after them but were forced into another circle as shadows began attacking from all sides.

It was a little more strain with Serpico gone. You had to work a lot harder to protect Casca and occasionally Isidro too with him being just a kid.

You lunged over Isidro's head to protect him and just as you were momentarily distracted; one of the shadows got hold possessing you to your horror.

Casca reached out with worry being the first to notice.

Guts and Isidro's eyes went wide when you drew your sword swiping at them.

Guts moved quickly pushing Isidro out of the way before you could take his head off.

"WHAT THE HELL WHY IS SHE TRYNA' KILL ME?!" He screamed as he caught sight of your eyes. They were hauntingly white and your expression was venomous.

He had never been so scared..

"She's possessed now stay back" Guts ordered.

Guts was thrown into overtime deflecting both your quick strikes and the never ending ghosts swooping down at him.

Isidro kept Casca safe while she watched with wide eyes. For the quickest moment a flash of an image popped in her head of a familiar woman swinging her sword at that same man..

Too lost to know what it meant, she was unaware it were one of her own memories of fighting Guts.

The ghosts came rushing in head on as Guts was left with no choice. He took a huge swing breaking your sword as it flung high into the air.

He next struck you out as you collapsed on your knees and then hit the ground.

Isidro's eyes widened when he saw blood coming from your mouth but wasn't left much option but to keep fighting.

Guts realized he had struck you way too hard but took extra care to make sure none of the shadows touched you again as he stood over you protectively.

It wasn't until morning that Puck and Serpico returned. He had his arm over Farnese as she was quivering with the guiltiest look on her face.

She had lost both Casca and the path she were on being forced to hide in the trees the whole night.

A wave of relief came over when she saw Casca was here all along. Tears welled up in her eyes and she ran over hugging her.
