Serpico x Reader Part 5

"Y/n, this is for you. It has water elementals" she drew out a spear.

On its end was a neat tail-like tail design. It glimmered from all the scaley colours. Casca reached for it in awe, it was so pretty.

"Go ahead" Schierke nudged pointing you for the chair in the corner of the room.

You glanced to Serpico unsuredly and he nodded to go ahead.

You weren't sure how to use a spear but you grasped it as best you could and forced it in a forward strike.

Something strange happened as something shot out and the chair froze solid.

Casca ran over and licked the chair getting her tongue stuck immediately.

Guts groaned while Farnese had to go over and help her.

"Looks like I better not get on your bad side" Serpico said under his breath making you smile.

She next gifted Farnese and Casca with protective chainmail. Guts was a little relieved by that. One less thing to worry about he thought.

You all headed for the village to find they were in the middle of a funeral. To Morgan's surprise they didn't take a liking to the witch because she was a kid. They saw it as a cruel joke and the priest of the village even tried to rid themselves of you.

Casca fell into the grave displaying her illness. Guts had to yank her out and she ran away from him in fear.

Guts was quick to think of an excuse that they must let you all stay with her being a pilgrim; the church owed its responsibility of offering refuge to those so she could pray for her illness.

The priest didn't like it one bit but he was forced to allow it.

Serpico glanced your way as you were all lead to a house for the night.

You didn't feel like sleeping as you couldn't stop staring at the strange weapons gifted to you all.

Schierke gave out her strands of hair asking you all to wrap it around your fingers. It was a strange request though you all followed instruction.

Serpico kindly helped you with yours.

Schierke explained it would allow for her to communicate to you all telepathically. This was quite a shock.

Isidro disappeared soon after when he got into a tiffy with her over leadership.

Guts followed distantly keeping an eye out.

Those trolls could attack at any moment.

You noticed Serpico left by his own as well. He took his weapon with him having a strange relation to it.

He felt it were the complete opposite to his nature..

After a couple hours a strange image occured in all your minds as Schierke announced the trolls presence. "GET TO THE CHURCH!" She ordered through her magic.

When the three of you ran out of the house you saw Serpico waiting with his hand out reached. You took it while Farnese had to grab Casca so she wouldn't get left behind.

The villagers were running and panicking as they headed for the church. Isidro regrouped having heard the same message.

You and Serpico froze when a scream came from behind. Farnese and Casca turned as well to see what happened.

One of those ghoulish trolls knocked a man over followed by a herd of others. His wife and child screamed as he got eaten.

Serpico bravely stepped forward with his new weapon in hand.

He swiped it quickly but not much happened other than he drew the attention of the horrid creatures.

Isidro jumped in reminding him of the elementals! "Remember what she said man!!"

Serpico recalled her instructions. You must picture them in your mind and the stronger the trust the more powerful their effect..

You watched him close his eyes and feel it out with his heart. You watched the wind adjust to his weapon as his eyes flashed open.

He struck again and this time much more powerfully.

Your eyes widened when the trolls got diced from the strike.
