She is jealous of Mikey because how well protected he is from his family, but never wanted to hurt him. She didn't have a good childhood, her mother is sick, so she needs money. Her father is an ass, who took all the money Akari earned to gamble. Even with the pamper she gets, nobody knows what she really need.

He is Mikey's best friend from before to after, he is always by Mikey's side. The reason why he is like this is because Mikey to him is his savior from his past. Again same as Akari he also never had a good childhood, his parents are always busy and have no time for him. It maked him very insecure, and lack of love. He's parents died because of an airplane crash when he was only 10 and from that day on he's living with his uncle, which is a CEO that is partnered up with Shinichiro. Like his parents, he never have time for him, but he would always take Haruto to Sano's house to let him play with the kids. And you probably could imagine the rest.
