⚠Trigger warning death⚠

Drifting.

Sinking but not drowning.

Alive but not breathing.

A fragile redhead floating in a rich nothingness.

Heart beating fast even though it doesn't need to.

Fear chokes her, blocking her windpipe.

A small sob, barely audible escapes her cherry lips.

No one is around to hear it.

There is not a soul in sight.

She gags on the sound as it comes out, convulsing in the emptiness, limbs jerking painfully as though they can somehow kick the air back into her lungs.

But there is no air.

Finally the girl stills.

She has given up.

She gave up a long time ago, and now her deepest wishes have come true.

In her last moments, the girl manages to form fragments of thought.

Help...please...blood...destroy it...afraid...meaningless...death is welcome...the truth...I love you...help...I'm terrified...NO...don't touch me... Luna...save me...wildflowers

None of it makes sense.

Meaningless nonsense that her brain will not remember later.

Lonely pieces of a puzzle that no one can put together.

They are broken.

Just like she is.
