Serpico x Reader Part 2

Last time you all chased after him you got yourself knocked out. He only went easy on you because you were a woman. Had the circumstances been different you'd be sliced in half.

You shuddered at the thought of being forced to fight him again.

 It didn't matter how many of you there were. He still overpowered you all whether the others could see that or not.

You found yourself positioned on your horse as the army got split into groups. You were ordered to enter some cave that was hinted to be overflowing with heretics.

You lost track of Serpico as he was likely at Lady Farnese's side. You tried to forget about him. It would hurt less in the end if you both came to your senses and dropped whatever this was.

He watched from afar realizing you were split with the other group.  It bothered him that he couldn't go along with you to at least watch your back. You were still badly injured.

Sweat dripped down your temple when you saw what was going on inside the cave.

People were naked and screwing all around the place.

Something was going on as some woman was being worshipped like a god. She didn't look as though she belonged though. She looked just as lost and confused as the rest of you.

You hadn't the chance to see what went on but one minute you were rounding heretics the next a bunch of them had transformed into demonic-like monsters.

...They were biting the faces off soldiers as all hell broke loose. Seeing as the laws of reality shifted so nightmarishly you froze on your feet.

"This can't be.." you shivered unable to move.

Something knocked you over as a shadowy figure flew past from behind you.

It struck you as odd that it came from outside.. something wanted inside this nightmarish place??

Your almost dropped your sword seeing it was the black swordsman. He got to the middle of the action and started swinging his sword around violently.

You were shoved around as soldiers flew past you trying to escape. Some still fought but most fled.

You got completely knocked over and grimaced from the shooting pain in your leg.

You slowly looked up to see some horrid monster coming your way.

You swiped at its surest weak point which was the neck. Your face dropped when that only slowed it down.

"Impossible..." your hands were shaking unprepared for this sort of thing.

All you could hear were screams and yells of people getting slaughtered and eaten.

Your comrades were getting destroyed. No one could have possibly prepared for such a thing as this!

The creature screeched coming at you for more.

You scrambled to get back on your feet and this time you took the head clean off with a sigh of relief.

This only attracted more of them.

It dawned on you that you might not make it out of here..

"WoMaN..!" "CoMe heRe"  They started to drool as they creepily tried to get their hands on you. There were three of them at once, you realized it were best to run like hell.. or as best you could with your leg..

You turned quickly bumping into someone's chest. Serpico stood tall with a determined expression.

You froze with surprise seeing him here.

His attention remained focused on what was pursuing you as he pulled you behind him and brought out his sword to your protection.

His swordsmanship was always impressive. He killed them all quickly with disgust. He knew their exact intents toward you and was just glad he'd shown up when he had.

He reached backward grasping your hand in his. Your heart fluttered as you looked at him for a moment. He looked so serious and focused like it were his mission.

He quickly pulled you through the disaster toward a clearing. He was sorry for your leg but he could not risk you being touched by these beasts.

You were still slightly processing what the hell happened. Had some portal to hell suddenly opened releasing all these demons?!

"What is happening" you half sputtered out in fear.

"I don't know.." he said seriously as he pulled you incessantly.

Your leg was past the point of pain but he got you out from that dreadful cave safely. If anyone could do it; it were him.

He suddenly glanced to a side path.

"What is it?" You asked.

"Nothing. I just have business to take care of. Do not get back in that cave" he ordered firmly.

"Jeez, like you had to tell me that" you said under your breath as you looked back for the cave.

He left swiftly like the wind leaving you there speechless.

You looked around while the various soldiers outside the cave looked at you in confusion.

You had no words to describe what was happening down there.

That cave.. it was like a different world opened up..

You were lucky to even get out alive.
