8 O'clock in the morning- The battlefield in a small town near Jerusalem.

The sky was cloudy, and the sun hadn't risen yet. The air was very cold, yet I felt hot, Was it fear or was it excitement? It was my first day in the crusader army. My job was easy and simple; to deliver weapons to other soldiers. It was simple indeed, yet divine. It was for the sake of the cross.

Our forces were winning. I felt great; I felt like I was truly the servant of the lord. Suddenly! A great trumpet sound echoed through the air. The sound was so great that the soldiers thought that the seventh seal was broken.

I closed my eyes and turned my face away. When the sound terminated, I opened my eyes and saw a soldier standing on a far hill. He dressed differently from the other soldiers we were fighting. I thought he was a commander, or maybe even higher rank. He was holding a horn, which he then blew, but this time the sound was covered by a quieter, yet more important sound. The sound of galloping.

"SALADIN!!", a soldier screamed next to me. Then a huge army of mounted soldiers came from behind that soldier-like man. I was terrified; I threw away my armor and sword, bent the knee, closed my eyes, and started praying. I saw and heard nothing. I simply disappeared, like I wasn't even there.

Then suddenly! I heard a voice screaming to me "in front of you!". I opened my eyes and saw an Arabian soldier raising his sword towards me. I thought about nothing as I instinctively grabbed my sword and deflected his strike. His strike was so strong that I fell to the ground. Our swords clashed for a while as I was on the ground until I hit his legs with my right leg. He easily fell to the ground because of his heavy armor. I took this advantage and jumped on him with my sword piercing his left eye deeply till my sword reached the earth.

As My face was stained with blood, I wondered, maybe this is indeed the judgment day.
