On the other hand, Ms. Kang, the second most competitive among them, saw that Namjoon and Seoyeon are getting near the starting point which also serves as the finish line, so she told her partner to quicken their pace. In the nick of time, the two pairs are already fighting on who will get back first. And there, only three long jumps left, but something terrible is about to happen. As Namjoon got distracted, he accidentally jumped before the count, which caused for them to stumble. Seeing the expected outcome, he immediately pulled her into his arms as they fell, making him land on his back while Seoyeon has safely landed on top of him, securely shielded in his arms. Groaning slightly through pain from the fall, he is still glad that she is safe. The others were stunned from what happened that made them stop from jumping except for Ms. Kang, who ensured their win before noticing what happened.

"Oh no...." Mrs. Lee worriedly said as she left the sack and was about to go help them but she halted for some reason.

Meanwhile, after a few seconds of realizing she is safe, Seoyeon opened her eyes and almost threw herself away from astonishment on how her face is on his chest. As response, she promptly pulled herself away from him, but got concerned to see Namjoon's face in slight pain.

"Are you okay?" She asked and assisted him on sitting down. But Namjoon wasn't answering, instead he lowered his head to hide his face which bothered her. "Sir, are you okay? Is your back in pain?" She repeated until she heard him scoff, until that scoff turned into a faint chuckle as he lifts his head to face her.

"That was awesome," He bashfully joked with a grinning smile.

Seoyeon exhaled in relief to see him that way, and just smiled. She then later on stood up and offered Namjoon a hand, which he accepted. The other managers came over to check the two after seeing his reaction. Knowing how furious be could be, they actually got scared to even come closer a while ago until they saw him chuckle. They asked him bunches of questions but he just told them that he is fine. On the other hand, Seoyeon was a little busy helping him to dust off the dirt on the back of his shirt.

"I'm sorry," He whispered to Seoyeon when the other managers left after ensuring the two's safety.

It confused Seoyeon, "What do you mean?"

"Your strategy was really good. We were winning, but my clumsiness ruined it. I'm sorry we lost the game." He said in complete embarrassment from his mistake.

"You didn't ruin it, so don't worry. Besides, I've told you that winning is just a bonus. I meant that. What matters is that you're okay and you're enjoying it." She guaranteed, shooing away his slight anxiety.

He is glad she is a sport in games. He also is, but deep inside, he wants them to win too. Who doesn't want that, right? Not that it will only benefit Seoyeon from the prizes, he also wants to impress her and to make her happy as well, because it will be a plus point for him as he further ascends with his intentions towards her. Yet, his mind was disturbed when he heard Mr. Choi's call. It's time for the next game to begin.

*****

Ever since the mistake of Namjoon that led for their lost, they still haven't won anything among the five games that they had played. Some things would alway happen and those some "things" are mostly caused by Namjoon's clumsiness. He was sad, but Seoyeon would always cheer him up. However, when he heard Mr. Choi's announce that this game will be the last one for today, he felt like a failure as he gaze at his partner who he think is feeling a little disappointed to be assigned as his partner. But, is she really disappointed?

"Okay, everyone, for the last game for today, we will be playing the famous Newspaper Dance!" And mixture of emotions were heard, most of it are positive though. "You know the drill, right? You and your partner will dance around the newspaper, but when the song stops, you must step inside the newspaper. Everytime the song stops, we must fold the paper into halves before proceeding to the next rounds of the game. No body part must touch the outside of the newspaper or else you'll noth be out. The last pair inside the newspaper will win."

Hearing the mechanics of the game, it brought back memories to Namjoon. Back in high school, he played this game and they actually won.Somehow, he felt confident that he can do it again. They could win this game and Seoyeon will finally get a prize.

"Do you have any strategies in mind?" Seoyeon looked at him with an expecting smile, a little drained since her strategies are always failing.

"I do have," He said, taking him away from his thoughts. "I want you to trust me on this game." Namjoon stated that confused her.

"O-kay," She nodded.

The game began and just like instructed, they started to dance on the fully laid newspaper on the ground. The helper is the one managing the song, so no one knows when it will stop. The first two rounds, they were easy as pie for them because the newspaper was still wide. But when the third fold was presented, things became a little complicated. The moment the song stopped, each pair immediately went in the newspapers. They were either holding each other, most likely the males, while the rest are hugging each other. For Seoyeon and Namjoon, they're holding each other like how people hold their partner every slowdance at prom. The only difference is that Seoyeon is stepping on Namjoon's feet instead.

"Are you sure you're not getting hurt?" She uttered, uneasy that she might be causing pain.

"I'm fine, don't worry about me." He assured and at the same time, they heard a yelp from the other pair.

It seems that Mr. Han and Mr. Jeong lost their balance because a bee flew on them put of nowhere. Accepting their defeat, they just laughed on how they both fell on their butts, making the other laugh a little. Then the music was played again. The four pair left did their little dances as they circle the newspaper. Most of them were trying hard not to giggle on how funny Namjoon is, especially with his awkward silence as if he's brainstorming on how to fit themselves on that small space. And when the music stopped, they immediately tried to fit themselves in. They were having a jard time balancing themselves, while Namjoon told Seoyeon to tiptoe on his feet. Almost losing her balance, Namjoon was fast to hold her waist.

"You can hold me, it's okay." He whispered in a gentle way after seeing her hesitating to hpld his shoulders.

While the two disqualified men check if there are any violation, they noticed Mr. Choi's heel touching the ground so they called him out. It was no doubt that Mr. Choi's feet were too big, so he and his pair accepted the defeat. The only pair left were Ms. Kang's team, Mrs. Lee's team, and Namjoon's team. After counting to three, the music played again. The newspaper is smaller now, as if only one foot can fit there.

"Seoyeon," He called so she hummed, "I need your permission." He stated.

"Permission for what?" But before he could answer, the song suddenly stopped.

The next thing she knew, Namjoon is already carrying her in a bridal way as he tries to balance himself on the newspaper. She was surprised, a little speechless and her eyes were blinking a lot. Their proximity is too close, and she could feel her heart beating anxiously loud. On the other hand, Mrs. Lee and her pair lost their balance but the male were fast to prevent them to fall on the ground. The last two pairs are left, and to test them, the helper decided to let them stay like that a little longer. Yet, it wasn't long when Ms. Kang's pair slightly hopped a little that caused for his foot to touch the ground.

"We have a winner!" Mr. Choi exclaimed that got Namjoon and Seoyeon's attention.

"Congratulations, Mr. Kim and Ms. Park!" They cheered to the two.

It didn't sink in at first to the two, but it did, they got filled with enthusiasm. Namjoon put her down and they both jumped from happiness as they held both of their hands, looking like kids who won a giant lollipop. And too much joy led them to hug each other, almost squeezing one another as Seoyeon squeals giggly. But the arrow of realization hit them, making Seoyeon pull away with a bashful grinning smile while Namjoon bit his lip lightly to hide the wide smile upon seeing her this giddy. Well, atleast they won something before the day ends.

[A/N: I'm back, as promised. So, a little TMI, I wasn't supposed to pair them together. I was plotting this chapter differently, but I ended up with this. I hope you liked it! And I'm on a break from school, so I might update again sooner. Lovelots!]
