Wake up. It's 6 A.M.

Evan: Ugh... School already started and I didn't even catch up on my homework! Whatever, I'll just ask a friend of mine to let me copy it from them...

He thought, while hitting the "OFF" button on his alarm clock. He could hear his mom close the door behind her and leave off to work. He was all alone at home again.

Evan: I mean, skipping school for one day won't hurt... Right? W-wait, what am I thinking? I'm one of the best students in my class, I can't ruin that!

He waddled down the stairs and headed to the bathroom. School wouldn't start till 8, so he had time to prepare for his first day of class of the year.

He washed his face, brushed his hair and put on his earrings and other jewelry.

Evan: Well, now that i'm all alone, I should be able to have breakfast peacefully, without my mom yelling at me to hurry up...

He went in the kitchen, progressively feeling less tired. He made breakfast and slowly ate it as he saw through the window. Something felt wrong, but he couldn't put his finger on it, so he just ignored it and kept getting ready for the day.

After having breakfast, he went back to his room and got dressed. It was a special day, so he got out his favorite clothes and carefully put them on.

Evan: Perfect! I just need to check the time to see if I have enough time to go to school with my friends or by myse... W-what?

What time is it?! It's not even numbers anymore, it's just gibberish!

What time is it?! It's not even numbers anymore, it's just gibberish!

Confused, he rubbed his eyes and watched the alarm clock slowly going back to normal, displaying the time it currently was. 7:20.

Evan: That... was weird. I probably just imagined it.

He went back down the stairs, grabbing all of the stuff he needed.

He had 40 minutes, and knowing that it only took 20 minutes to get to school from his house, he had plenty of time to meet up with his friends, but, for some reason, he couldn't find any of them.

Evan: That's weird. They're usually here by now. Maybe they slept in late? Uh, whatever, I'll just go by myself.

And so he did, he arrived to his class 20 minutes earlier, so he just sat down in his seat and waited for the rest of the class to come in.

His classmates slowly entered the class, sitting down on their assigned places and chatted with eachother peacefully. Evan thought today was the perfect day, nothing had went wrong except for his alarm clock, but he just brushed it off and carried on with his day.
