(JULY 19th, 1977
ONWARDS)

IT WAS BARELY BREAKING DAWN as the sun crowned its head over the comforting horizon of home on the morning of July 19th, 1977. A glorious morning to welcome the events of that glorious day, the events which could also be known as the births of Bianca Renée Carlyle, and her elder twin brother, Seth Bennett.

It was perhaps that day that Bianca's aversion to attention awakened within her, as her mother laments nostalgically that seconds old Bianca, then unnamed, earned a second slap to the behind to make her newborn self cry out like her brother. Her mother, Annabelle Beth Carlyle, also notes that as the start of Bianca's admiration of sorts, for a lack of better words, for the wallflower life. In Bianca's defence, her diffidence when it started was practically indistinct and usual for a girl her age.

(CIRCA SEPTEMBER 14th, 1983) Bianca was six years old when she decided she didn't hold even the slightest consideration for competition sports, in fact, she would rather face the punishment of having to eat inside by herself, watching her fellow pupils play and stuff their faces during recess, than participate on the monkey bars in Gym class. She didn't care, her peers much preferred her twin brother to her, and Bianca favoured her own solitude with her PB-and-J sandwich.

Furthermore, Bianca's grown enough now to fondly remember the embarrassment on her elder twin brothers faces, Will and Beau Edward, when their Gym classes would overlap and their fellow athleticism loving guy mates would giggle and childishly point at the young brunette, watching ahead as the then youngest Carlyle girl stalked off unfazed by the enervated Gym teacher.

(CIRCA JUNE 20th, 1989) This particular summer was a scorcher, temperatures reached record breaking heights, ice cream and slushy sales sky-rocketed, the children of the Carlyle family have since never had such a summer they remember so fondly from their childhood. Eleanor-Marie had arrived home from her Junior year at College, bringing with her a secret back tattoo of a lily flower that sat permanently dangerously close to her left bum cheek, as well as a tall, dark and handsome boyfriend, (Bianca vaguely remembers his name being Luke or something). The summer of water fights, swimming in the (probably diseased ridden) country lakes, and perhaps most importantly, the summer of Bianca's first crush.

His name was (is) Peter James, he had sandy blond hair that shimmered like gold when it caught the light just right, he had a cherry red Chopper bike he rode around the neighbouring streets. He was thirteen the day Bianca's crush began, and Bianca hadn't even had her twelfth birthday yet. She had seen him around before, once or twice riding his bike with Beau Edward and Will at his flanks.

However this summer was different, Bianca was sat on the curb outside Cut-N-Blow, a semi-tacky family owned salon that her mother visited bi-monthly mainly to gossip with the other southern mothers, as she waited for her own mother and elder sister to join her in the summer heat. As Bianca sat admiring this particular ladybug crawling along her tanned knee, crossing over the pink band-aid she acquired after a fight with Seth and Will, she was lost in a daze only for it to be broken by a boy shaped shadow looming over her, blocking the blazing sun beams. In particularly it was a Peter James shaped shadow standing over the nearly twelve year old Bianca

"Watcha looking at?" When Bianca thinks back to this day she remembers Peter having cracked off the bottom quarter of his front right tooth, she's still convinced it was probably from that damn chopper. But eleven (nearly twelve) year old Bianca wasn't focused on his teeth in that moment, but rather on how to calm this sudden influx of butterflies that swarmed her entire tummy, apparently flying their way up into her throat as she choked on an answer to give to an expecting Peter James.

Instead, the thirteen year old boy didn't give her much of a chance to deliberate an answer. "You don' talk much d'ya? Tell Will the next time I see him it's his turn to bring the firecrackers. See ya around." His S's whistled as he spoke, probably due to the lack of front tooth. But Bianca didn't care, she didn't care about his tooth, or ratting out her brother to their Mom about the firecrackers, or even about the fact that her face was probably as red as a cherry tomato. In that moment all eleven year old Bianca Renée cared about was the fact that Peter James knew who she was.

          Peter James.

          Peter. James.

          Knew who Bianca was...

Bianca was convinced it was love at first sight.

(CIRCA JULY 21st, 1990) Two days had passed since Bianca Renée and Seth Bennett had officially become teenagers, but one year had passed since Bianca's crush on Peter has had the chance to fester into a time consuming 24/7 obsession that the young brunette kept a tight lid on, due to fear of her older brothers (and younger for that matter) finding out and relentlessly teasing poor Bianca for it.

Saturday the 21st was meant to be a joyous belated birthday celebration for Seth and Bianca, a day jam packed with ice-cream cake and jelly and presents and games to entertain all, and the moment Peter James walked into the Carlyle home was the moment Bianca had anxiously been expecting, for the blond boy didn't even know it, but his presence alone was the most perfect birthday present Bianca could ask for.

Although what Bianca didn't ask for was for Peter James to walk past the threshold hand-in-hand with Gracie-Leigh Talbot, the red-head with a soft splattering of freckles covering every inch of skin you could see, and a bright smile with a slight gap in the top of her front two teeth. Bianca laughs about it now, perhaps that's the reason they sought each other out, the gap tooth and the chipped tooth — a match made in heaven.

Bianca doesn't remember much else from that party, mainly just the feeling of her heart shattering into a million tiny pieces. Hey! What can she say? Being a wallflower tends to make you a tad melodramatic!

(CIRCA MAY 30th, 1995) High School was a real eye opener for Bianca Renée. She managed to get over that stupid crush on Peter James, as he seemed to stick with Gracie-Leigh for the rest of their education together, and have a few (well, two) boyfriends throughout the end of Middle School and into High School. Graduating with average grades and a newly developed love for computers and cameras alike, Bianca Renée's future was aligned for greater things, as she stepped up to receive her diploma alongside her twin brother that sorely awaited May afternoon, she had a gut feeling that this was all going to be worth something meaningful. So like every other optimistic almost-eighteen year old, she spent the next two years working God awful server jobs to save for the bright lights of Los Angeles in hopes of making a difference in the film industry.
