"Kim Kelly!! Get the fu*k up and go to work"
I woke up with my dad screaming on top of his lungs telling me to go to work as he doesn't do anything leaving drinking alcohol and munching on chips sitting in front of the TV "Yea you should hurry neither we are gonna kick your butt out of our house" and here comes father like son my brother Kim Woo-young who is on my nerves 24/7
"yea then you two can starve to death" I said and got up from the couch walked out of the room pushing my brother aside.
I went in my room and took a quick shower and rushed out of the house to the bus stop but to my bad luck the bus had already left
and now I had to walk All The Way to dairy queen where I work which was at the end of the city far-far away from my home.
While I was walking a guy bumped into me hurting my sholder he was running fast like someone was chasing him. i looked at him and our eyes met for a second then he looked behind me and started running again.
That was weird no 'sorry' or anything.
I started walking again and after some seconds i saw two men who i recognised as the 'snakes' those horrible bikers they were the bad guys of the city. They did various things like drug dealing, beating and killing people for money
I flinched as they started walking towards me and one of them asked "have you seen a guy with a white shirt and black hair" i shook my head as a No
Then suddenly the other man came closer as i stepped back and said "tell your fu*king father to return our money before we come to your house and take it back our way"
My eyes widened in shock and i blurted out a "What!!?" They just ignored me and walked away leaving me frozen there with shock
Then suddenly my phone beeped and i looked at it and saw I've gotten 10 to 20 messages from my co-worker Sana
"Kelly are you coming to work or not?!"
-Sana
"Yahh! It has been an hour since your shift started and you haven't showed up"
-Sana
"Is everything ok?!"
-Sana
"Yah why aren't you replying to me!!?"
-Sana
...
Ooh shit it has been a hour!!
I started running as fast as i could and reached the store in 20 to 30 minutes
I was catching my breath in front of the store when suddenly I felt a tap on my sholder i looked back and saw a costumer waiting for me to get a side so he could go in
Now that was embarrassing
I got in from the backdoor so no customer gets disturbed and changed into my work clothes and started working
It was hard focusing in work because of what had happen before and my sholder hurted because of that guy. I made many mistakes and was pure cringe with the costumes
When it was time to close the cafe i just sat at a table holding my head because of the thought's running through my head
'Was my dad that bad or maybe they just got the wrong person or-' I was interpreted in between by Sana
"Are you ok?" She asked "yea...what could happen to me" i lied "Hmmm....I just wanted to tell you to packup" she said with a suspicious look.
I sighed and packed up I was so done with my family
I took the bus and in no time i reached at our apartment building i was filled with anger ready to explode at my dad.
I opened the door to see my dumbass brother laying at the couch eating chips "owww is my little sis back from work" he said but i ignored him and was walking straight to my room because i didn't see my dad but he stopped me by saying "yoo you got a letter from your school" "WOW! you know how to read 'school' what an achievement Kim Woo-young" i said.
he throw the letter at my face i just picked it up and went to my room.
I opened it up and my eyes widened in shock i got an scholarship in the biggest high school of Seoul.
I opened my door and screamed "Woo-young i got a scholarship!!!!" He flinched and fell off the couch choking on his chips.
"Calm down...cla-(coughs) down Kelly" he said choking on his chips "ooh sorry" i said "but still I'm going to NSS(NATIONAL SCHOOL OF SEOUL)!!"
"Wow then good for you" he said being unbothered by my words "it was useless talking to you" i slammed my door and went in with glittering eyes looking at the letter I'll make sure i work hard on this.
