albedo was at dragonspine, as he usually is with sucrose studying. sucrose, being the very focused person she is, was studying the alchemy the anemo slime getting more research on it. "im heading off sucrose." albedo said as he looked at her with a serious face on. as albedo walked away while sucrose was watching, she carried on with her research. soon enough, albedo reached monstadt for more materials for alchemy. he stumbled upon an "old friend" of his. "why hello, chief alchemist albedo, the one and only." kaeya said looking at albedo with a smug look on his face. albedo turned around to see him. " im to busy, im researching about the so called "frostburn lawachurl"." " well instead of studying so much, why not take a break and come to the tavern sometime?" " i guess i could settle for a drink." he said looking at kaeya with a straight, yet soothing voice. " why not come over tonight and celebrate the search of your "frostburn lawachurl"? " "well i need to get back." albedo walked off going back to dragonspine. he reached his camp to find sucrose in a bit of trouble. "sucrose?" "AH, master albedo, your back from monstadt." "yes, i am indeed back." "have you gotton what you needed for more research?" albedo stared at the papers he had as he set down the things he had gotton.

albedo was at the tavern.. of course, drinking. the next minute kaeya came inside, and sat next to him. albedo and kaeya both woke up from their sleep only to go downstairs to a bar full of people. rosaria, lisa, venti, jean, and the others were there. "why are you all here?" kaeya said looking confused at everyone. "kaeya, you need to get dressed." lisa said with a stern voice. "albedo, you to. this is an important mission that all of us need to deal with in dragonspine." albedo heads back upstairs and starts to get ready to go to dragonspine. he comes down the stairs with a concerned look on his face. soon enough, all of them are in dragonspine looking for the problem. they head to the spot where the "god of salt" left her sword when she was slain. then, they spotted the problem. a giant whopperflower, big enough to destroy monstadt. all of them are fighting it when all of a suddenly albedo gets hurt badly. he had a huge cut on his torso and no one there was a healer. albedo was close to dying. "ALBEDO NO!!" kaeya rushed over to him holding him in his arms crying, wishing albedo was alright. he picked up albedo and started running to monstadt again. he reached monstadt covered in blood, searching for barbra. he went to the cathedral and there, standing was barbra, she turned around with a worried look on her face, immediately taking albedo into her office. kaeya gently layed him onto the medical bed, barbra grabbed her medical stuff and started to heal albedo. kaeya sat outside crying, worried albedo wouldnt make it.
