Today's my birthday! Happy eighteenth birthday to me. I logged in on Facebook and all my friends wished me a great birthday. Thank y'all. I planned on throwing a party at a hotel and my mom agreed to it, she paid for everything and said that she'll make it up to me for she can't come. I don't want her here anyways.

"So you're having a party at Marriott hotel plaza?" Samantha asked as we were writing down scrips for a play.

"Yep, bring whoever you want, actually, help me out spreading the news," I wrote down a word.

"You're sick Khalia! It's like you're a daughter of a famous person," I stiffened as Daniel mentioned a famous person, I let out a nervous chuckle and hope that I wasn't obvious.

"Bring whoever? I'll bring the campus to you babe," Richard piped in as he was polishing the lens of a DSLR camera. "Yo! Ajax man! Come over here for a sec," he called out to the other side of the room. Ajax paused what he was doing and meandered over to our group.

"What's up man?" He asked and they did this fist pump bro handshake as I watched.

"Yo! Khalia is having a huge party at Marriott's tonight, her eighteenth birthday so help everyone get there.

"It's your birthday!? Oh happy birthday baby! I'll get you a gift as soon as possible, didn't remind me!" Ajax pulled me up my sit and gave me a peck on the lips then hugged me, it felt like nothing though, just a friendly kiss, not like Mason's.

"Thanks," I grinned at him then he throttle back to his group and every single one looked at me and rushed over, giving me hugs and greetings.

Lunch, me Samantha and Yasmin sat on outer usual spot as both girls look out for guys exiting the building.

"Rumor mill has it that Mason got it bad for you," Yasmin popped a grape on his mouth a smirked at me.

"Well rumor mill is wrong," I cut a piece of my lasagna and chewed on it.

"How'd you get a hotel for your party?" Samantha asked, oh shit. Uhm... My mom is a director and a multi-millionaire and she rent out a hotel for me.

"Oh... Uhm, my dad. Remember? He owns an estate in Texas?" I choke on a laugh. My head is screaming 'liar, liar pants on fire' and I felt guilty for a second.

"Right! I wish my dad has an estate or a compound," Yasmin sighed. Samantha agreed with her and they started talking about it for at least 15 minutes. A hoard of guys stepped out the building and paused beside me.

"Hey! You're Khalia right?" The guy in the front with dirty blonde hair asked, I nodded and he smiled widely. "Cool! Happy birthday! Party tonight at Marriott's right?" I nodded again. "Awesome! See ya later!" He smirked then started to walk away.

Later," I said after them. Samantha and Yasmin froze like time stopped with there mouth hanging open.

"Oh. Mi. Gawd. Khalia! Do you know who that is?!?" Yasmin shrilled.

"If she knows she'll be freaking out smart ass!" Samantha retorted.

"Yeah, I don't really-" and she cut me off. I bit my tongue to hold off the snarky remark I'm about to say because she always do that.

"That was the football team! And the guy who talked to you is the football captain! Jeff Calvin! You lucky bitch! He only talks to senior/pretty/popular/hot girls! And wherever they go, the crowd follows!" She said freaking out.

"Oh...Kay then..." I said awkwardly because I don't really care if he's a football player, I only care about the people who'll attend my party. Not to be selfish or anything. My phone dinged and I saw a text from 'the king if the jerks' as I called him in my contacts, I haven't had the chance to change his name yet and I'm planning on it soon.
