"She sure is sending a lot!"
Pulse mused.

I peered over to see the mint screen fill with white message boxes before chuckling, drying my hands as I took the phone,

"I never seen someone send so many messages this fast! She must be a fast typer!"
I showed Pulse as the screen flickered with messages mostly from Nadiya.

The conversation went something like:
-----

Paula: Hey, uh, I'm not good with message starters but I talked with my manager and he gave me the day off tomorrow instead.
Wondering if I could crash by tomorrow morning around 10 to group up.
I can order some food for the day.

Nadiya: Yess! I knew this was a good idea!

Jess, think we should order something to eat? I should bring drinks, what do you like?
Maybe I'll bring coffee!
Do you like coffee?
Or cappuccinos?

Paula: Ah, yes? Lol
I'll bring over something hearty then, we could spend the day together before studying or after.
Either way, we're gonna need to bring notebooks.

Nadiya: Whaddya say Jess?
Got time to spare tomorrow morning?

-------------------------------------------------------------------

"I think you have time."
Pulse agreed.

I smiled and gave a reply to the girls.

"There. They'll be here tomorrow at 10 am. So I should get things ready at 8."
I smiled.

"What's with the early start?"
Pulse asked.

"Training. That and we get the most out of the day."
I chirped.

------------------------
[Sunday; 9:30 am]

After getting ready, taking a few bites from an apple and blow drying my hair, the apartment was set and my dog stretched lazily in the sunlight past the horizon.

"Lazy, we're gonna have company soon."
I scratched her head.

"Morning Ho- err, Jess?"
He stuttered.

"There we go. You'll get the hang of it."
I smiled, setting the table.

"Force of habit. So, did the girls send anything else?"

"Nadiya updates on her position when she stops somewhere. Paula just said she'll be here. I sent the address and apartment number, they'll be fine."
I chuckled to myself.
