Astrid of Centradun

I'm Astrid Stark , princess of Centradun. My parents died protecting the dragons when Decentrai launched an attack. When Decentrai's king, Geralt Lancaster captured all of the dragons ,they refused to be slaves to a tyrant ,so they fell into a deep slumber. After the dragon's demise, the king of Decentrai persuaded other kingdoms to lend him their armies to take our kingdom Centradun. It was said only a chosen Stark can awaken the dragons and save us from the tyrant called "Geralt Lancaster".

Now Geralt has the remainder of my family locked up in our castle, to keep us away from the dragons. The king knows if we as the Starks get into contact with the dragons then we'll have the power to break free from his shackles, and he wants us under his thumb.

There are four member Stark household left. I'm the first born, the heir to the Centradun throne, followed by my younger brothers who are Knights of Centradun, Alonzo who is the eldest brother, then follows Alessandro. Ace is the last born who wanted to be a knight but one day became blind due to unknown causes. Ever since Ace became blind he has been seeing visions about the Stark sibling who will awaken the dragons, but he's not sure who exactly is it between the four of us.

After four years of Geralt "The Tyrant" Lancaster reign, he has declared that Astrid Stark shall marry he's eldest son Brandon Lancaster. Brandon has been known to be a brutal assassin, he never misses and he's  never been known to quit on a job.

Astrid's POV

"I've been nervously pacing all day in my chambers, after I've been told that the king has some news to share that will most probably change my life",I say shaking. "The future queen shouldn't show her feelings to people it is considered as a weakness"said Alonzo warning me."I've been wondering what is it that is going to change my life, because I doubt anything is going change it any further than it already is. Four years ago I was the Princess of Centradun, who had anything she wanted with a snap of her fingers and I was the heir of the Centradun throne. Now I'm a prisoner in my own castle and in my own kingdom". "Don't worry sister whatever it is we'll get through it, and remember you're the heir of the most powerful kingdom in Methgard so he can't harm you even if he wanted to"said Alessandro comforting me. "Thank you lessia", teasing him. Don't call me that!" he said warning me.
My heart jumps up to my throat as I hear footsteps approach our quarters.
"Brace yourselves", Ace said settling us.

The king entered our quarters with his son and to be honest his son is handsome, and the king is looking like he's got the whole world in the palm of his hands, I could see it by smug on his face. How I wish I could wipe that smirk off his face with a sword. "Your highness", we all said in unison. Geralt ordered us to be seated and I knew that whatever he is going to tell us is going to shake me.

"Princess Astrid Stark I know you are to be the ruler of Centradun but I have other plans for you. You are to marry my son the Prince of Decentrai, Brandon." Immediately when he had said that I felt my heart beating fast, head spinning and I was shaken to my core. I got up and said "With all due respect your highness but you can't say something and expect me to follow it, I'm the heir of Centradun and I refuse to be a bride to your son". "Princess!"shouted Brandon, his voice resonating throughout the whole chamber, his voice beautiful sending shivers down my spine."Son", the king said calming him down. "Your highness you promised us freedom once I have come of age. Now you are turning on your own word, I don't think I can ever trust you now". "And what is king who doesn't value his own word.......nothing!", said Alessandro. Brandon in his father's defense "Don't speak to my father in such a tone, he is your ki-"your king not ours, not in a million years", said Alonzo in our defense. "You are afraid that if we get out of your control, we'll attempt to free the dragons that's why locked us up and that's why you hid the sleeping dragons", said Ace  shocking us.

"You hid the dragons? where?!", I said demanding an answer. "Remember princess I am your king and I can do whatever I want, whenever I want and whichever way I want", said Geralt excising his power. "Father is correct he does not answer to you",Brandon showing dominance. "Move four years back and he woul-well this is not four years ago PRINCESS", said Brandon cutting in and emphasizing my title, clearly patronizing me.

"The boy is right, I hid the dragons. I hid theming very safe place, so that you cannot get your little hands on them and plan to overthrow me", said Geralt looking smug as ever. "Well tell me you have atleast you have hidden them in their sacred place near our castle, because their home is with us". "You do not get to tell me where to put them, because I do not answer to you and why would I put them near you where you could easily get to them......... Princess I am a king not an idiot". "The matter remains sister..........the proposed marriage alliance. The king wants to unite two of the most powerful kingdoms in Methgard through a marriage alliance, isn't that right King Geralt?", said Alessandro breaking our focus on our dragons and bringing it back to the issue at hand. "Smart bo-"My brother is not a boy your highness", said Alonzo defending our brother. "And our sister is not going to marry a murderer like him, how will we know if our sister's safety". "Alessandro stop!", I said warning him and giving him a deadly glare. "I approve of this proposal", I said. "What do you mean sister?", my brothers asked in unison confused, thinking that I wouldn't approve. I answered "I mean I will marry Prince Brandon Lancaster","Good then", said the king and the Prince. "On one condition, after the king's demise we will rule from this castle, my home and we will have the freedom to do whatever we want, whenever we want and whichever way we want to", I said demanding not pleading. The Prince came with his own condition, "Well princess I have a condition of my  own, till my father's demise you will have to live with us". May you tell us the purpose of that"I said unknowing of his intentions. "No I may not, you will all know as  time goes"said Brandon. "Fine then", I said confirming the marriage. "We'll take your leave princess", said king Geralt looking like he has conquered the whole world.

Once the two Royals left our chambers my brothers came at me hounding for an answer and I just said, "I have got a plan".
"What plan?!", my brothers asked in unison.
