At the Springfield Nuclear Power Plant, where he usually worked, Homer Simpson sat in his chair reading through the manual and mumbling.

He really didn't want to be at work today. But the safety inspector that usually covered for him recently had a baby and that meant until a replacement could be found, Homer had to go back to work and do his duties.

Why couldn't Mr. Burns give me a week or month off?  He complained, foolishly forgetting what he was doing here. He always has me working these long hours and underpays me.

Then Homer's coworkers, Lenny and Carl, came walking in feeling happy to see their friend at work.

"Hey Homer," said Lenny. "It's good to see ya back at work."

"Yeah, it was getting annoying with that backup inspector," commented Carl. "He'd talk nonstop all over the phone with his wife over the speakers."

"We certainly didn't need to hear his wife nag about his affairs," added Lenny. "You'd think we were listening to an podcast."

Homer frowned in jealousy. It would've been funny to hear that inspector's arguments. But of course, even if he were present at work, he wouldn't be able to hear it because he was the main safety inspector.

Why do all the good things happen when I'm not at work. Homer thought to himself as he was driving home.

Homer was

As he got out of his car, he went to go check the mail.

Much to his displeasure, it was another ticket where it had a picture to prove that Homer was using his phone and driving at the same.

"D'oh!" he shouted in annoyance. "Stupid... darn advance modern technology.... Collecting evidence is proof for their lame excuses."

Homer then had a moment of realization.

The Nuclear Power Plant had cameras placed around the place. They were recording everything 24/7. If he could get the tape of the backup inspector's wife yelling over the phone with him, he would not be missing out on any events you could only experience once in a lifetime.

As Homer thought this through, an orange station wagon pulled into the driveway.

The front door to the wagon opened and out stepped his heated and gnarling wife. She looked like as if she had came from a street fight.

She didn't say anything, but was stomping to the front door with Maggie in one hand and a shopping bag in the other. As she entered the house, she slammed the door hard.

Bart opened the rear door, stepped out, and pulled down his shorts which were already drenched in... something?

"Boy," said Homer. "I need your help."

"What is it Homer?" asked Bart uninterestingly.

"I need you to help me distract Mr. Burns so that I can get into his office and go through his security camera footage?"

"Why do you want to do that?" Bart questioned, crossing his arms.

"There's my backup inspector that--" said Homer.

"Cheated on his wife and she had a cat fight with him," Bart said smirking. "Don't think I'm dumb dad. I know what we both want to see. I've already had a plan figured out."

"Great!" said Homer. "Wait how long have you had that plan?"

"Since I've installed that camera you got for Maggie in your room," said Bart. "I've been live-streaming what you and Mom do on OnlyFans and I'm making triple than what I get in my allowance. Of course, I don't see what I'm live-streaming. That would be too traumatizing." Bart then pulled out a wad of fat cash. Homer, of course, was enraged by this and prepared to throttle his son.

"I'll teach you to interfere with my intimacy!" Homer shouted as he started strangling Bart.

"I gave the money to you and Mom!" Bart said repeatedly as he was being choked.

In the meantime, the last person to come out of the car was Lisa Simpson. Her mascara already running, and her dress a total mess from how much she had been crying.

What was the cause of her actions today? Why did today have to happen? It was far too horrifying to recollect. But she had get the record through and despite being a Buddhist, she had to pray to forget what happened today.
