A few days later I felt a hand shaking me awake. I groaned and looked up. It was Victoria.
"Good morning sleepy head." I groaned.
"What time is it?" She looked at her watch.
"You have 5 minutes to get your books and go to class." She smiled.
"FUCK!" I got up and noticed that I was in the head student room.
"Wait... How did I get here?"
"You probably fell asleep on your desk last night. Those preparations are really killing you love." I looked down.
"I'll be okay... I guess I just really wanted to get the last things done for Friday."
"I know love. But you need to take a break too. When was the last time you did something for yourself?" I thought.
"Saturday?" Vic raised an eyebrow. I looked at her, a little scared of her reaction.
"5 months ago?"
"5 MONTHS?!" Vic looked at me and I stood up.
"Okay okay maybe I am ignoring my needs a little... but I want to get this done so I have nothing to think about when I'm done."
"Amalia... You always have something to do... Give yourself a fucking break before you get a burnout... I'm worried about you... " I looked down. I didn't know what to say.
"You know what? We're going ice skating today. Just you, me, Damiano, Thomas and Ethan."
"Wait... Who's Ethan?" I looked at her confused.
"Righttt he's our new drummer."
"Ooo the long haired guy" I smiled and she nodded.
"So are you in?" I sighed deeply.
"I don't have a choice, do I?"
"Nope. Now move your ass to class. I'll pick you up after English." I nodded and we went to class.
After class I tried to get to my room as fast as possible, but someone hugged me from behind.
"Nope. I talked to Vic. You're coming with us!"
"Damiano come onnnnn!" I kicked... But he was too strong and I was too small. I groaned.
"If I say I'm coming will you let me go?"
"Only if you pinky promise."
"Ugh fineeeeee but please put me down." He did so and I stretched out my tongue at him.
"Asshole."
"I missed you too." He kissed my cheek. I smiled and we walked to the car where Vic and the other two boys already waited. The new guy wore a leather jacket, had long dark hair and smoked a cigarette. He seemed shy... Which I found rather adorable.
"Did she defend herself?" Vic smiled crossing her arms. Damiano nodded.
"Don't worry. Nothing I couldn't handle." He winked and I elbowed his abdomen.
"Ow!" I smiled satisfied.
"Now I'm ready to go." I winked and got into the car. I looked at the new boy.
"And Ethan?" He looked at me.
"Huh?"
"Welcome to the family. " I winked at him. He smiled and we drove to the ice rink. I sat in between Thomas and Ethan while Victoria sat next to Damiano who was driving the car.
"I'm happy you're coming with us." Thomas smiled at me and blushed. I smiled.
"Thank you for taking me. Even if I didn't really volunteer... " I glared at Damiano.
"Heyy Victoria made me!" He pouted and I smiled.
"It's cool. I'm happy to go out for once." We arrived at the ice rink and got our ice skates and got into the Hall. The light was colorful and it was cold. But not too cold. It was perfect for skating. Vic pulled me with her and we sat down to get dressed. I was so excited. We have been here every weekend when we were younger. I got on the ice and I was insecure at first, but after my first steps I remembered how to do it and skated with a bright smile. I laughed and ran some rounds and took the speed to skate backwards. When I got back forward Ethan took my hand and supun me. I laughed.
