Part 1:

The leaves crunched beneath your feet and the wind blew the branches, making the trees sway. You shivered as the cold enveloped you in it's embrace. You looked around yourself. There were big, looming trees, standing defiantly above you, and bushels, but you couldn't remember where you were.

Frantically, you feel around yourself and your pack to see if you had brought a map or anything. Anything to see where you were. "No, no, no, no, no," you muttered nervously to yourself.

You shook your head. There just had to be a way to find your way back home. You look up into the trees. Surely there had to be some birds that hadn't migrated south yet! You stare up into the sky, the trees, for as long as you could. Nothing.

You look around. You hear a rustle in the bushes and a low growl that sent shivers down your spine. Frightened, you start off to your right, your feet thudding the dirt ground. Your pulse was so loud in your ears, it would have been impossible to not have tracked you down that way. You race through branches and shrubs, vines and trees.

You just can't give up hope yet. You finally stop to catch your breath. You pant, hard, and your chest ached. You had no idea how much you had ran, but your lungs felt punctured, your throat begging for water and warmth. Desperately you look around yourself. You want to scream, shout for help, help from anyone, but you're much too weak to stand, let alone scream, and you feel your legs give way.

You collapse onto the ground, your fingers intertwining with the dirt, blood gushing out from the blisters on your feet. You feel tears spring to your eyes, but you're too tired to even sob. You let out a cry of agony and feel your eyes flit closed.

The moonlit sky woke you, your body blisteringly aching. Crickets chirped in the distance, bringing a sweet melody to your ears. That lulled you nearly back to sleep. But you couldn't sleep. You were tired, but you needed to persist. If only you had enough strength. You groaned as you struggled to stand, and crawled to a nearby tree.

Your vision was significantly blurred, your body refusing to move. You lean onto the tree and search with your eyes for your satchel. Not like your eyes were much anymore anyways. You finally locate your pack, which was sitting on the ground innocently, muddied and lonely.

You reach out for it, but your arm was hurt too much. You frowned and tried using your leg instead. You reached out to the bag and dragged it towards yourself. You rummage around in the bag and take out a match and candle. You ignite the match and, hand shaking violently, slowly put the flame into the candle. You blew out the match and tossed it back into your bag, and soon realized that hunger was getting to you.

You reach into your pack again, and try to pull some food out, but fail. "There, there," a honey sweet voice chirped. "Hm?" You murmur weakly. "Ara, ara," the voice sang again. "Don't say anything or move. Stay still," You obeyed. It was help! Maybe this woman would help you get back home!

You stay still, your eyes alert. A needle jabbed into your arm, pain shooting through your body. You yelp. "Don't worry.. you'll just feel a pinch!" She whispered to you eerily.

You lay still, and just as you started to lose consciousness, you spotted a lock of purple hair and a single butterfly flitting towards you...

...

Your eyes feel sore, your body as heavy as lead. You can't move and your muscles were aching more than they ever had. The sweet voice came again. "Of course. Sorry," the voice said cheerfully. The thudding of footsteps came closer, and you could feel the presence of somebody approaching you.

You felt around yourself. Your body was laid on a cotton bed, your shoes taken off. Your body stung with the feel of alcohol rubbed harshly onto your skin, and your blisters had bandages wrapped around them. You were still in your own clothes and your hands felt rough and weak. You tried letting out a cry, but your throat ached. "Water.." you managed to croak out.

"Coming," the voice sang out. You grumbled and rolled to your side. You winced and rolled back on your back. You open your eyes slowly. Your eyes were near blinded by the light, but your vision was much better than the conditions they had been in before.

You wondered why you ever got so frightened and ran. It could have gone better.. Your mind swirling with thoughts, you nearly didn't notice the cup being lifted into your mouth. The water filled your mouth as you swallowed,  your throat filling with relief. "Mmm," you grumbled, struggling to get up. You caught a glimpse of the girl.

She was small, but pretty. She had large, compound eyes that resembled one of an insect. Odd.. she had black hair that dyed into purple, and a beautiful butterfly kimono that resembled a butterfly's wings.

You also noticed she had a sword attached to her side. But before you could examine her further,  your vision blurred again. The water was drugged! You felt your body weakening and starting to numb. You heard the eerie laughter of the girl as you lost consciousness and your vision went black.
