Chapter One

POV: Itadori Yuuji 

Enrolling into Jujutsu Tech High school I didn't think much of it, to be honest I just thought it was normal. It's a lot more complicated then what I originally thought of. I have teacher named Gojo-sensei, he's okay I guess. I'm also stuck with two other first years. I don't think they like me very much from what I can tell. Nobara Kugisaki, the only woman of the first years, she's okay but always picks small fights with me. Nobara makes me carry all her stuff and bags every time she forces me to go shopping with her. Kind of annoying. 

The other first year, Megumi Fushiguro, he rarely talks. Sometimes it feels like he's mute. But he spoke to me today which is progress! He asked me if I had an extra pencil today at class. It may seem like not a big deal but it is when it comes to Fushiguro. Of course I gave him a pencil because I really to be friends with him and Nobara. I'm lonely okay?

I'm on my way to lunch now and I packed myself some rice balls to eat. I munched on them and grabbed my water bottle from my backpack. I ate the rice balls fairly quickly and drank it all down with my water. I love rice balls so much they're one of my favorite foods.

 I threw away my empty water bottle and walked over to the courtyard where the first and second years go to hang out in. I found my best friend Todo and ran over to him. He started blabbering on and on about sports and the new best football team. Don't get me wrong I love talking about sports, but I was distracted by something catching the corner of my eye; is that Megumi? In the courtyard? I never ever see him here. I wonder why he's here all the sudden.

Pov: Megumi Fushiguro 

Ah, where is he? I forgot to ask for a pencil sharpener when Itadori gave me that pencil. And of course it was a dull pencil... Sigh. I think he's in the courtyard? I never go there but it's worth a shot to find him there. 

Oh there he is. Do I even have the confidence to ask him a question? I walked up to him and there other guy, I think his name is Todo? I believe he's a second year. I opened my mouth and started to say something.

"U-uh.." I started to say

"Yes?" Itadori said.

"U-uhm.. pen..cil sharp...er.. I.. need" I mumbled out.

"Oh! I'm so sorry I gave you a dull pencil! I know I have a pencil sharpener somewhere..." "Hold on I believe I have one in my backpack be right back!" Itadori said, running to the cafeteria to grab his backpack. 

How did he know it was a dull pencil? I wondered.

I stood there in silence with Todo still sitting there, having a confused look on his face. We waited for a few minutes until Itadori broke the silence by running in front of me and Todo. He looked like he was out of breath. 

"Here you go Fushiguro!" Itadori said, huffing in between words and handed me the pencil sharpener. "Sorry I took so long, I realized I didn't have one in my backpack so I ran to Gojo-sensei's office and stole one hehe~ but don't tell him I did that!" he added on. 

"T-thanks" I murmured and walked away.

Pov: Itadori Yuuji

What a very awkward person.. I kind of like it.. I thought. 

Woah what am I thinking? I slapped myself to snap out of it.

"Dude, you okay? You just slapped yourself" Todo said confuzzled. 

"Uhh yeah! I'm okay no need to worry about it!" I smiled for reassurance. 

"Alright. Well wanna go play some basketball?" 

"Sure!"

Todo and Itadori headed out to the basketball courts. They played basketball for a while, until Todo finally admitted he was tired. I gotta admit, I was also pretty tired. I said my goodbyes to Todo and we did our special handshake. I walked over to my dorm and saw Fushiguro also heading to his dorm. I smiled and waved at him before opening the door. 

I put on my pajamas and headed to bed.
