Split String of Fate:(Killua x Reader x Kurapika)

~Exam: Phase 4 Part 1~

        After securing a water source, a lake and deciding you'd just fish in said lake to get your food, you decided to catch some shut eye. You climbed up a tree that had a good view of your surroundings, but was still well concealed by the branches of other trees.  Your jacket was warm and blended well with the trees, so you could sleep warm and with a little bit of a less chance to be spotted. 

        "Stop! Stay away from me!"  You scream as the tall, slender man approaches you. You didn't dare to look at him. The surrounding area didn't look familiar, you were in a sort of cave. Although the area looked like any other inside of a cave, you knew something wasn't normal. Your whole body shook, crumbling under the thick, deadly atmosphere. The pressure around your made it hard for you to breath.You couldn't move, you couldn't run. You were frozen in place. The man leaned down and crouched down in front of you. He tilted your chin up with his hand slightly to look into his eyes. They were empty and emotionless. His eyes alone froze you to the core. You felt as if he was sucking your very soul out. "Stay away from him." the man said in a monotone voice, filled with malice, "Or else." He dropped your chin and disappeared just as suddenly. You fell forward onto the cold cave floor as darkness swallowed you up as you trembled uncontrollably. 

        You were suddenly woken up by a boy talking, "You're never going to find an opening." He shouted. You looked down from your tree still shaking from the dream you just had, however you could barely remember it. You eyes caught a small glint of silvery white hair not too far from your tree. It was Killua. "If you're not going to come out, I'll just have to go to you." He says proceeding to walk to a nearby tree. You stare towards the tree he's walking towards and see a small and scrawny man standing there, slightly trembling. 'He doesn't stand a chance against Killua.' you thought as you analyzed the man. You drop down from your tree and quietly walk up behind the man. The man didn't even notice your presence so you decided to take advantage of this. 

        "Hey," You say placing your hand on his shoulder, causing him to jump a whole meter in the air and scream, "He already knows you're here, there no point in hiding." The man stares at you terrified for a second, then quickly swats your hand away. 

        "Y/n leave him alone, he's my prey!" Killua huffs as he approaches the two of you.

        "He's not your target though and you're the one who said I should just collect 3 other people's tags." You casually say back.

        "He might be and if he isn't You can take it for all I care, but after I beat him up. He's been following me this whole time and it's been annoying me." Killua says. 

        "Whatever, I'll just watch while you take out your anger." You say climbing the tree you'd previously been on. 

        You watched the fight scene unfold as the man and 2 more of his brothers show up to fight Killua. They formed some sort of triangle and they all took on fighting positions, while Killua simply stood in the middle with his hands in his pockets oozing boredom. Killua was sent flying by the first man's kick making you gasp. However, after Killua casually got up and pulled his hand out of his pocket staring at a tag. You laughed a bit when you realized Killua had stolen the man's tag and the man looked horrified. Killua's face looked slightly disappointed, clearly it wasn't his targets tag. He quickly took each of them out and finally found his tag in the larger brothers pocket.

        "Nice job!" You say dropping down from your tree with a smile. You started walking toward Killua who's back was facing you. Your smile quickly fell as soon as Killua threw the extra two tags far away, one to the east, one to the west.

        "YOU BRAT!" You scream at Killua, "Weren't you going to give me those extras?!" 

        "I never said that," He says casually turning around to face you. A smirk formed on his face, "Looks like you're just going to have to find them." 

        You were fuming, but you had to get at least one of those tags. So you quickly raced towards the west chasing after the tag. You sprinted up and tree and jumped as high as you could and snatched the tag out of the sky. You smiled widely and dropped to the earth, landing perfectly on your feet. 

        "One down two more to g-" You froze when you felt a familiar sensation running down your spine. You hesitantly turned around only to be greeted by the man you were getting the tag to not meet, Gittarakur. Your heart stopped, your face went deathly pale and the pressure dropped like 100lb dumbbells, flattening you. He slowly closed the distance between you too through long even strides with his long thin legs. You were still crouching on the ground from the landing, but you couldn't bring yourself to even breath, let alone stand. 

        "Y-You m-must be y-y/n-n." He said through chattering teeth. He proceeded to remove the needles embellishing his face and his face started to transform. Your eyes widened in realization. It was him, the man from your nightmare! "Man these are annoying." He said in a deadpan voice.
"Anyways," He said crouching down in front of you, meeting your terrified eyes. "It seems you've gotten close to Killua Zoldyck. He appears to take a particular liking to you." 

        You would've shouted "No he doesn't like me!" But you couldn't bring yourself to speak, so the man continued to talk. "Killua, is an assassin. He doesn't need friends, let alone a lover. They are unnecessary baggage to assassins. He doesn't need you or any of his other "friends". Assassins are trained to kill, not to make friends. Sadly, Hisoka's also taken a strange liking to you, therefore I cannot kill you, no matter how much I wish to. So, I'm here to simply tell you to leave him alone. However to make sure of that," He says pulling a pin out from his pocket, tilting up your chin and holding the pin up against your throat. "Stay away from him." the man says in monotone voice, filled with malice, "or else." He drops your chin and disappears just as suddenly. You fell forward onto the cold grass as darkness swallows you whole.

        Finally got over writers block! I'm so happy gahhh! Hope you guys liked this I'll write more this long weekend because I might not be able to post next week cause it's MY BIRTHDAY WEEK! AHH!!! :D
