6 - The Wedding : First Family Meeting

"Ah, come come, your mother has been waiting for you", Uncle Pat excitedly lead two young men into the resort they were staying in for five days ahead.

Not going to lie, War felt impressed with his sister's scouting skill, because the resort is amazing. When she told War that she wanted to have a beach wedding ceremony, War was skeptical. Because from his experience alone as an architect, beach wedding party would usually be messy and you'd have only exhaustion left if you chose the wrong resort to relax after that. However, Ming had chosen an amazing resort at Krabi where it isn't as crowded as Pattaya and the ocean view is gorgeous.

"Noo?", Yin whispered to War teasingly once he felt like Uncle Pat was at a safe distance. Amusement clear in his face hearing Uncle Pat calling War with such a childish nickname.

War elbowed the taller and made him doubled over but Yin just laughed seeing War just walked ahead leaving him behind.

For a while the 'couple' had forgotten the challenge that awaited them ahead and just soaked in the ocean's atmosphere.

"My nong, you made it!", a lady with the same sweet eyes and dimpled smile welcomed them the first time Yin and War made it to the resorts' lounge.

Yin had a slight smile seeing the obvious similarities between her and War. She must've been the sister that's about to get married. Plus, he clearly enjoyed seeing War being annoyed that everyone's treating him like he's the baby of the family

"Ouch phi, too tight", War struggled to get away from his sister's grip.

"Sorry, I'm just excited", She sheepishly smiled and pulled away.

War smiled at his sister, "Are you nervous?"

"Yeah avlittle but most of all, I'm excited, I mean, it's finally happening you know", She said then happily took War's hands that were extended to her. The siblings swung their joined hands back and forth.

"I'm happy really, phi", War genuinely felt happy and relieved and he was glad, despite all the troubles, he got to be here to witness his sister starting a new life with the one she loved.

Yin was just standing behind War, letting the siblings had their moment before someone approached him. This time, a boy who looked exactly like War used to when they were in college. A little brother?

"Excuse me", he said, pushing his glasses up his nose, "Who are you phi?"

"Ah, I'm with - Uhm", Yin stuttered while pointing at War, he felt like it's not his place to introduce himself.

Ming caught the little exchange and went to look past War to where her little brother is, "Oh?"

"Ah, he's- wait phi", War attempted to properly introduce Yin before she ask questions but Ming already on her chase.

"Are you here with War?", She smiled so brightly at Yin.

"Yes, uhm", Yin glanced at War and when he just nodded, Yin visibly relaxed.

He corrected his posture and expression in a blink of eye and smiled at both War's brother and sister, "I'm Yin Anan Wong, War's boyfriend"

The surprised faces in front of him were truly marvelous.

"Phi's boyfriend?!", the little brother whipped his head towards War.

"Boyfriend?! As in lover?! is that true nong?", Ming asked, being equally surprised.

"Yeah", War nodded and Yin felt the urge to wrap his arm around War so he held his waist while subtly pulling him closer.

"Since when?", War's little brother asked.
