Preet: Mini.. Neil?? Mini sach sach bata.. kya hua tha?? Neil kyu nahi hai yaha??

Mini told her everything, atleast everything she knew.. The friend inside Preet was enraged.. But something stopped her from getting angry on Neil.. She just couldn't connect the dots..

Preet: Mini, bhala Neil tujhse ye baat kyu chupayega? I mean jo banda hamesha itna honest aur staightforward hota hai, vo jhut kyu bolega?? Mini, tu mujhse zyada practical hai tu hi soch.. Tune hi abhi mujhe bataya ki, tum logo ke delhi jaane se pehle, Neil shocked tha ki tujhe ab tak sach nahi pata.. Par kyu?? iska matlab to yahi hua na, ki usse lagta tha ki tujhe sab sach pata tha.. matlab.....

Mini: matlab Neil ne mujhse sach chupaya nahi, balki vo sach mujh tak pahucha nahi bas....

Preet: exactly..

Mini (teary eyes): par ab vo gaya kyu?? Mujhe sach bata deta na..

Preet: Mini.. vo tere baare me sochta hai.. tu hurt thi, aur teri khushi se zyada usko kisi cheez ki parva nahi hai Mini.. (notices the letter on the side table) Mini, (pointing towards it) vo..

Mini (taking the letter, reads it): 

Mini, agar tum ye padh rahi ho, to mai yaha nahi hu.. I'm sorry Mini, tumhe vaha le jaake tumhe hurt karne ka koi iraada nahi tha mera, abhi jo tumne dekha, vo bas aadha sach tha, par khair, ab pura sach jaanke bhi koi fark nahi padega.. I know maine tumhe bohot hurt kiya hai.. and you only deserve happiness Mini, jo maine shayad na kabhi diya hai, aur na hi kabhi de paaunga.. 

I just want you to know that, mera tumse sach chupane ka koi iraada nahi tha, maine tum tak sach pahuchane ki koshish ki thi, par vo tum tak aaya hi nahi.. abhi please smile ok..

Neil

She fell on her knees and started crying after reading the letter, Preet just hugged her tight and let her express her feelings.. Then, after some time, she saw the keys kept on the table..

Mini: tumhari responsibility thi ye Neil, ye bhi chod ke chale gaye?? 

She got up, and wiped her tears, determination took the place of grief in her eyes..  Preet smiled as she saw the old Mini back in action now, she chuckled in mind thinking of Neil's state if she caught him, and she believed that she would, she knew her bestfriend too well

Mini: Neil, pura sach kya hai, ye to pata lagake rahungi mai..

They came to the hall and Mini was pacing here and there, when his words rang in her ears 

"Dhund raha hu"
"Tum itni shiddat se yaha waha ghum rahi thi"
"solution hi to hai, zameen pe pada hoga, yahi kahi mil jayega"

She smiled at the memory, she went to take a glass of water from the table, she took the jar, when she noticed a book fell down, she bent down to pick it up, and a few papers fell from it..

Mini: Preet yaar, ye papers..

Preet and Mini picked the papers when..

Preet: Mini...

Mini: ha..

Preet: ye to Neil ki handwriting hai na

Mini: kya bol rahi hai yaar, de mujhe (she saw the papers) ha yaar ye to Neil ki hi hai.. (she noticed her name on it) (almost a whisper) MERE LIYE THA YE??
